Dual degrees in History & PoliSci. Only took 2 classes at UF that I can say I really learned anything in. This one and a History of Science class. If you are looking for an easy A stay away. If you want an education find his classes. Be prepared to work by which I mean reading. And dont think you can memorize your way through.

Graduated, Law school, now practice. I owe it all to Prof. Grapski. I was frightened at first because of the books and only a final. But he taught me to learn and that learning was fun. It was hard work. But learning, I discovered, was the easy part. And a joy. So I took one of his harder classes. Thank you "Charlie" everyday I use what I learned.

DO NOT TAKE POS 2041 WITH GRAPSKI!!!!! it will be the worst mistake of your life. there is no way to judge how you are doing in the class because there is no structure. when i asked him about my progress in the class he told me to focus on learning and the grade will follow. i went to every class and tried to take notes but still failed.

Grapski is a very nice guy, but was a very confusing teacher when it came to structure. There was none! Lectures were boring unless you're really into polisci, and you just never know what is going on in the class.

This was probably the worst mistake i ever made was sticking with this class. He tells you not to worry about it, and to "trust" him. The class has no sturcture and disreguards the syllabus. There are no grades in the class, so you dont know what he expects, until you turn everything in, and a bomb is dropped on you.

Don't listen to the other responses-- if you do the reading and go to lecture, this class is a joke. The 10-page paper is nothing b/c he lets you choose w/e topic u want. The debates are fun. His lectures are interesting if you like poli sci. And the final is pretty much on the stuff he repeats all semester over and over. Easy class.

RUN FROM THIS CLASS. Grapski is the worst teacher i have had in my entire life. at the beginning of the course he tells you everyone usually gets an a or a b TOTAL LIE. not once throughout the semester does he give you any idea of how your grade is coming, hes not helpful, he says the same lecture over and over again, hes rude and creepy. it sucks.

**WARNING** DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!This guy was just ridiculous. I wrote him an email regarding my grade and its been 3 months n still no response. His reponse to me in person was not to worry about grades(interesting concept). He repeats the same material and extends class. He is very unclear and has ruined my experience with political science.

This class sucks. He tells us not to worry about our grades but then goes off and gives us quizzes and a 10-page paper and IT'S NOT EVEN A GORDON RULE CLASS! Also, he is not helpful at all if you have questions...he NEVER responds to emails (even though he only has ONE class).It is almost all discussion-based and make sure to do the reading!

Grapski's class is horrible. He claims there are no quizzes, but there are, and there is a 12 page paper you have to write even though it isn't gordon rule. The worst thing about the class is that there are no grades, so through out the class you have no idea how you are doing. Only for people who love polisci!!!! The class is too intense for oth

If you are looking for an education take anything Grapski teaches because you will learn. If you're just looking for an easy way to a degree don't. I LOVED going to class and having discussions, and I LOVED the readings. I felt respected in his class, and can't say enough good things about it. You won't regret taking any of his classes.

Grapski is an amazing teacher. All you have to do is read the assigned readings, understand them, and go to lectures (which are actually very interesting) and you will get an A. Class is incredibly discussion oriented. If you get a chance, take fed. govt. with Grapski.

AMAZING teacher! Attendence not required but highly recommended. If you do the readings you'll get an A. This class inspired me to change my major to political science. Does not teach from a text book. Class is intimidating at first, but really is not nearly as hard as it sounds.
