Comment:

Dr. Kinzer is an extremely nice professor, there are multiple assignments due each week but the assignments never took me more then 30 mins to complete. The tests are fair but difficult, he uses an online website that he posts on canvas and the questions on the tests are very similar to those on the website. He is very passionate of music.

Comment:

Kinzer is one of the best professors I have had at Longwood University. The best advice I can give is to take the practice quizzes he recommends. The majority of the test questions come from the quizzes. He gives listening exams and weekly assignments as well. If given the chance, DO take Kinzer for Introduction to World Music. You won't regret it!

Kinzer is an amazing teacher. He cared about his students enough to learn our names. Even after I finished his class, he still speaks to me around campus. As crazy as this may sound, PLEASE take the practice quizzes he recommends for tests, the majority of test questions come from them. You will have listening exams and weekly assignments as well.

Dr. (Mr.) Kinzer is probably the most relatable professor here. No class on Fridays unless theres a test, which I think we had 3 of. He's very funny, and doesn't put his students through much stress. Only one paper to write for the course!

He is very open and loves to interact with his classes. No classes on Fridays unless theres a test. Test are EXACTLY like the online practice quiz. If you ask him for help he will do everything humanly possible to help you. Great to be around. Always positive, will admit if even he hates a topic. Makes cute jokes to liven classes. Amazing man.

I loved this class! He was interesting and goofy all at the same time. His teaching and personality are what made this class fun. The class itself wasn't difficult at all, you just had to pay attention in class. The book and songs are a must have! Take him or you will regret it!
