He is a jerk. I was not great in this class. I visited his office hours three times a week and he knew I needed a C because I want to be a teacher. HE knew I would have to retake the lass if I got less then a C. I went into the final with a C and did decent in the final an he gave me a C- what a jerk

It might sound arrogant but as an Asian international student, I studied lots of things in my high school, yet never saw their usefulness in life. My SAT score was 800 but I never liked Math 'til I took Prof. Scheim's class. Clear explanation and thought-provoking questions that make you think in depth about the subject. Awesome teacher!

Took Multivariable Calc with him and he was the most helpful teacher I have ever had. I highly recommend. After the class I switched advisors to him.

This was my first college course that I took at Hartwick and it was a great transition from high school to college. Scheim is a good teacher. He explains things well and always has himself or someone else available to help. He knew what he was talking about and that's the most important.
