I NEVER write reviews on Rate My Professor, but I hated his class so much that I felt I must for the sake of future students. AVOID. TEEL. AT. ALL. COSTS. Annoying like no other, loud, confusing, downright rude, and tons of unnecessary homework. I don't mind doing homework, but UNNECESSARY homework is just plain irritating. Do not take his class.

If you are sensitive, do not take his class. If you understand his harsh jokes, and are not late to classes, take his class. or in his words "God will break your legs" and "i would rather you drink beer than be late to my class" are quite funny if you don't take them too seriously. he is just joking. so don't get too butt hurt. he hits walls.

Rude. Tendency to go on a rampage. Goes off on tangents while lecturing. Rude. Disrespectful. A La Sierra Institution...thats why he's still teaching there. Thinks he's so important. crotchety. "Hello!" Condescending. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SWITCH MAJORS IF YOU MUST!

Mixed emotions about this man. I'd much rather take a A&P test, or Psych test than do anything for his class. Long pointless papers. Lots of homework. Although his class is the worst thing ever and he makes very inappropriate comments. He practices what he preaches. Personally i think he's a bad teacher, but he stands up for whats right. DONT TAKE

RLGN305 is taught between Jones and Teel. Didn't like Teel at all--always yelling and throwing offensive jokes. His lectures are redundant from reading and boring. They should use more multimedia class materials rather than "lecturing" on religion. Also, they assume everyone in class is Christian/Adventist. Can be a bit annoying if you're not.

He is awful. Completely completely awful. He makes all these strange and inappropriate innuendos. Peru trip was poorly planned and I agree with the other commenter that if you take one class from him, you've taken everything. He makes you buy these lame photocopied "textbooks" he wrote and uses it for every single class he teaches. DEFINITELY AVOID

don't be late to class, it's not that hard. Will always listen to questions and gives great feedback on papers. The class is based on your notes so show up and take notes and you will be fine. He is eccentric but it at least makes class interesting

Can't stand this guy. Almost made me lose faith in theologians. He thinks he's so funny in that he makes fun of students in his class and doesn't realize who he is hurting. I went home crying after every class. Thank goodness I passed because I never have to take his worthless class again!
