Comment:
Took his class in Spring. Chris is a very peaceful guya little quiet and not as social, but hell give you words of wisdom when youre in need of advice. His class was easy and the rules were simple to follow. His teaching can be repetitive and confusing sometimes, but hes very sweet and friendly. If I had to take this class again I would. Onward

Chris is an amazing designer and teacher. He is a mysterious character but he is so genuine. He does not say stuff just to say it, his words mean a lot. Sometimes you need to figure out what he is trying to convey to you but it is apart of learning design. I highly recommend Chris.

Probably my favorite teacher at the University. He wont just give you answers, instead he'll guide you through the work and help you build your own design personality. He also gives a damn about design education and definitely has the credentials. Take his classes, you wont regret it.

Eh, Chris Myers can be mysterious but I like his teaching approach. He will not hold your hand and drag you around, rather, you have to approach him with ideas and ultimately make decisions. Many people don't like someone not approaching them. And though I do agree he can learn some people skills/manners, he is a great guy and really a genius.

Did not appreciate the class at the time. I learned, but it wasn't easy. Sometimes i wondered why i was paying for the class. I see now that the "not acknowledging your presence" was a common thing. looking back i don't regret the class. i think i could have made it better by trying harder on my part.

Needs to be friendlier and more personable. Perhaps that does not matter when imparting information to students but looking a person in the eye and acknowledging their presence helps when teaching to other human beings.

I did not click with this guy. People kept talking about his brilliance but really i didn't see it. I may be flaunting my ignorance here but other than seeing from unusual slides i this he's rather unclear about the movements we discussed

frustrating - but was a part of the way things were taught - not a bad thing - I learned. Social skills could be improved (saying hello when spoken to, acknowledging your presence with eye contact would be nice ), use a watch to see how fast he can say he went to Yale to study design.

one of the worst academic experiences i have ever had. myers was unclear and unhelpful with a healthy dose of arrogance and attitude to top it off. he seems to get pleasure by making things more difficult rather than explaining things and making them clear
