class can be extremely boring. the topic itself is not too exciting, but chucks enthusiasim wakes everyone up in the morning. the cultures we talk about in class are not that interesting. chuck needs to stay on track and not tell a story for the entirety of class. i cant wait to be done with this class.

I absolutely loved his class. There is kind of a lot of homework but it's really entertaining and easy. There are three tests and Chick is an extremely good teacher. He's funny and smart. He knows how to connect with his students and I loved going!

Chuck Smith is one of those teachers that make an impact on your life, a teacher you will remember later on. I really enjoyed the delivery of the class content. I laughed and cried. All teachers should learn from Chuck. After taking his class I was inspired to study Anthropology further and definitely will take other classes from him!!!!

A very enthusiastic teacher. Only exception was the ridiculous immigration project (that he openly admitted had several flaws and made no sense to anybody who read it) dropped my grade 2 grades. Other than that he had good teaching style and was very entertaining.

He keeps you engaged with his stories and really out there humor. He give extra credit points out like STDs (in a good way) which really helps raise your test scores. Lots of fun and a lot of valuable info. LOVE HIM!

I loved Chuck! He's very funny, and there's no homework! Don't be fooled, though...you learn A LOT. Learning about the primates and human evolution was super interesting. Since he just grades on exams, go to his office hours. He has practice exams, and he'll go over all the answers. If you do that, the class will be easy AND fun! TAKE HIM!

Chuck.. Hmm, he is a character. Has a lot of energy and makes the class fun, but he is pretty much unclear 24/7. We will start taking notes and then all the sudden he will just stop, and just lecture. Very hard to pay attention when he is running around. We watch a lot of movies, and get handouts for each one which helped.Hes not a big note taker.

chuck is a genius, he's hilarious, and he's crazy. he keeps it pretty real but does ramble but always finds his way back to his topic. this is not a class for the small minded or extremely religious.

Chuck is probably one of the best teachers I've ever had. He may not be clear on projects but that is because he just wants the best you've got. If you try, he'll give you a good grade. His lectures are amazing and this man has lived an amazing life!

Great fun teacher with alot of information, but be warned he has an enormously rediculous immigration project. Its unfourtunatley very unorganized and usless...sorry Chuck. A great great teacher but the project is worthless...Take the Anthro 1 class hes got it together with no crazy project...

Chuck is SUCH a great teacher, it's true that he often goes into senseless ramblings that take up an entire class period, but he really cares about getting his point across, and really cares about his students. He is extremely flexible with grading, assignments, etc. Just pay attention & laugh at his jokes.

Chuck is an eighteen year old spirit in a wise man's form. He is so much fun, personable, fascinating, and knows WAY MORE than there is time for telling. The 90 minutes flies by because he is so engaging. Nothing has ever challenged me more than his class. His lectures make the world a better place, because you will THINK differently.
