Comment:

Excellent teacher. She has a way of teaching and explaining a topic so that most everyone can grasp the concept and if not she will keep trying till you do. Never talks down to a student and usually seems to have extra credit available with in class exercises. Always available on campus and via email for help.

Comment:

I have no idea what everyone else is complaining about, this class is a cake walk.Yes, she's rather dry in lecture and yes if you do everything by hand the way she teaches it, you may have a bad time. But, if you are smart and do everything on your calculator (Google how to) you can do the homework and tests in about 5 minutes. Use the STAT button!

Do yourself a favor, and save your GPA. Her tests were ridiculous, were absolutely nothing like her lectures, and didn't relate back to the homework or the quizzes you were required to do. She took an hour to explain one question in every lecture that didn't have anything to do with the exams. Find someone else to take this course with, anyone else

This professor is terrible. Her lectures are straightforward, however the homework doesn't align with the quizzes. Then, her homework and quizzes don't align with the exams. Absolute nightmare. Moral of the story, avoid this professor!!

DO NOT TAKE A CLASS WITH HER!!! The home work and quizzes have nothing to do with the exams. I would email her about problems and never got a straight answer from her or she would just ignore me. I will have to end up disputing my grade in this class with the dean. She is penalizing me for technical issues that are out of my control.

Do not take this class from this professor, I am a straight A student and this class was very difficult. The test were almost impossible and she only gives you the easiest example problems and then only quizzes and tests you on ones you do not understand how to do. I have emailed her a couple times to get help and have received none back from her.

Not a good class, the homework and quizzes 5 questions each not very hard if you go through all the lectures... but the tests are not like the homework or quizzes. She makes the tests very hard and is very strict... do not take it from this teacher

This was not an easy class. 4 exams, 10 quiz and 10 homework and 1 final exam. Sometime, the exams are unrelated to the homework or the lectures. I felt that sometime the questions are randomly picked and she sometime picked questions based on things she barely ever went over. I ended up with a 92%, but don't know if she will curve that to an A.

It definitely wasn't an easy class but I don't think it was her fault; the subject material is just difficult in general. She made things very clear in the lectures, but the tests were very hard. Nice of her to drop lowest hw/quiz/test.

The worst professor I have ever encountered. Her online tests are formatted terribly and are designed to trick you, not test knowledge. She also refuses to teach you how to use your calculator to perform computations.(isn't it 2012?!)I worked hard and barely managed a B. Do not take this class unless you have already mastered basic stats.

Exams in no way covered any of the HW and online quizzes(A and B grades). Lectures and notes in the online modules were completely useless as a reference when taking the exams. Final exam was unnecessarily difficult, unrelated to coursework, and very poorly written making it hard to understand what was even being asked. Avoid the online class!

I bet you, Borror went on here and saw how everyone put how easy this class was, that she changed it for Spring Semester of 2012. DO NOT take this class with her. Exams are not relevant to quiz/homework. I suggest taking this course on campus because she changed it to being extremely difficult to getting even a C

The negative comments are the only ones that are true. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS ONLINE!! She makes it impossible to get an A unless she is the one who is actually taking the test (and that is only because she makes up the questions herself). The Exams are not even remotely close to the HW or quizzes. Horrible teacher to go with a hard subject.

I took the online stp 226. I found it to be very easy. Connie was very fair maybe tooo fair with grading. She offered extra credit and a very good curve. I got a A in the class. Just do all your homework and quizzes. And study for the exams and you'll get a A+ for sure.

Awesome professor. Just finished taking this class online and got an A. Just watch the lectures and then do her homework and quiz for that module right after and you will do fine.Exams are not difficult if you watch her lectures and make notes on the print out guides. Never did the assigned homework for the book just needed it for the tables.
