Comment:

Took this class as an elective. Corinne is so sweet but she is kind of all over the place - she will not return emails and her lectures are sometimes hard to follow so I didn't bother taking notes. Lots of guest speakers which were neat, exams were pretty straightforward as she posts a study guide on Blackboard. Corinne is a sweetheart!

Comment:

Corinne is a very sweet woman! Grades pretty easily and is helpful in reviewing before tests. Only negative I found was that she isn't great at replying to emails.. I emailed her a few times during the semester and she didn't reply to any, although the address was correct and she verified in class that she had received them!

I took this class for my Holistic & Integrative Health minor. Corinne is nice and is very passionate about her subject. However, lectures were scattered and didn't get very deep in the subject matter. Lots of guest speakers were brought in and provided more information on different areas of holistic health. Overall, this class was an easy A.

Well-intentioned and obviously knowledgeable woman; However, she is scattered and never actually goes in-depth with her classes. Many student-driven "lists" of interesting topics, but only the in-class speakers bring clarity. She is open to you NOT being open, though, so that's nice.

Corrine is passionate about Healing and Spirituality and all other aspects of holistic health. She began each class with a guided meditation which was relaxing. Not many assignments in the class, she can be a tough grader, but tests and assignments are pretty easy.

This woman does not respond to emails. She loses assignments, seems very unorganized and flighty. She asks dull questions and then seems surprised and disappointed that no one answers them. It may be an "easy A", but the class is boring as hell. Do not email assignments. She will lose them or pretend like she never received them.

I have taken a few classes with Corinne, she is awesome! Super helpful and each class is worth attending. She is well prepared for classes and knows what she is talking about. It also helps that the classes she teaches are all interesting topics.

Incredibly diverse, engaging course and Corrine was great. Lots of inspiring speakers and projects. She tried to educate us, but at the same time keep our stress levels low and she achieved that really well. Truly cares about the well-being of her students, and shows it.

I dreaded signing up for this 3 hour class, but it flies by with all the interesting guest speakers. Ms. Martin knows how to make the class engaging and informative. She didn't prepare us well for the quizzes, but they were only a small part of the grade. The paper and journal summaries are easy A's.

All classes taught by Martin are gut classes; an easy A if you put any effort in at all. She is passionate about Botanical Therapies-respect her passion , drink the cool aid and you'll do fine.A great GPA booster!Grades on 3 easy quizzes, a 3 page "paper"and a final...Also two journal entries but full credit given for "just about anything".

I appreciate Corinne's work and interests and this class. For someone who wants to help relieve stress, she can actually create it by her forgetfulness in posting notes, weekly questions (you have to just keep checking because you never know). She's a bit scattered but a lovely person.

Corrine is knowledgable and very down to earth. Her choice of speakers and topics are very interesting. I wish she taught more classes! I will be taking as many classes as she teaches. If you have a question she is very approachable.
