Comment:

It's ever-so-great when Mr. Warner gives us the date, time, and requirements of every single project all at once. It's a huge overload, and those that have troubles (I am in Mass Media for New Media, so I don't deal with art too much and am colorblind) he'll simply note it and forget during the next class. He was, however, lax when I appealed it.

Comment:

Rather than focus on one project at a time he would often overload you with multiple upcoming projects, which was very confusing. He was never clear on his expectations, and tended to grade fairly hard. He never updates your grade either so it's hard to know where you stand. He was extremely unhelpful and the projects were pointless.

Great guy! He was so personable and just loved being in class. EXTREMELY helpful... was very approachable and even more willing to give advice and direction. Best professor I had all year.

Okay, this comment is not for me, but for all the current students in Mr. Warner's class. I know a lot of people that have him, and none of them have good things to say. He will not offer help, especially if it's urgent. He's pompous, and thinks his work is god. His tests cover material not focused on in class. Altogether a HORRIBLE teacher.

I love this guy! He is super funny and has a great attitude. It helps if you know the programs before you work in them, but he is very helpful if you don't know them. Very knowledgeable about the industry. I loved this class!

Tutorials in class go by fast, if you know the software beforehand makes it a lot easier. Ask questions if you are stuck, if not to him then fellow classmates or lab assistants. if you dont like computers this class will be frustrating for you.

While his ability to lecture clearly is a little lacking, his willingness to help is very much there. If you don't understand something (which is likely), don't be shy, and just ask for help, he's almost always available in some way. He's bailed me out of some really tough situations. A very good guy to have on your side.

He is very hard to understand... he is forgetful and gets off topic easily which will really confuse you. He LOVES to talk about himself and all his past jobs, he even shows his professional portfolio in class. (A lil self indulged maybe?) Hes also very unclear of deadlines and actual expectations. Doesnt give good advice either!

Doesn't teach anything, just shows you how to do things. You tell him something and 5 minutes later he won't be able to remember what it was. He plays favorites and he does NOT give A's, unless of course he likes you.

GREAT GUY, GREAT TEACHER! Is a very busy man but will take time to talk to you, even if you aren't his advisee! Very knowledgeable about softwares and very patient with those who are not. Loves to see students show interest. A little extra hard work is needed in this class to succeed. Highly recommended!

Run and hide. Seriously. It's a shame this guy's the only one teaching this class. I could learn a lot from someone willing to teach. He won't help you at all. He actually tells you NOT to ask him questions on days you come in for lab. He loves to talk about himself and all his great accomplishments. Yeah right. Run!!!

His lectures were so boring, ans he just keeps talking in his monotone voice, with the lights off and laughs at the stupid jokes he makes no matter what. One day a guy fell asleep and fell out of his chair and he did not even notice. No test just quizzes and he gives so many bonus points on them it is impossible to not get an A.

He's out there. Sort of oblivious. likes to talk about himself a lot. The projects are fun to do, though sometimes time-consuming. Love that class, but I think it's because I'm addicted to computer software and we have a really fun group in that class this semester, all my IDM buddies.
