Comment:
OCHEM is the hardest undergrad class for pre-health majors. There are a bunch of reaction to remember and you can't study everything on time. The only good part is that the labs are easy points and he curves at the end. Overall Dr. Wellman is a good teacher.

The class is the perfect marriage of pain and torture, especially for someone who has no experience in organic chemistry. I studied 70hrs/week and got a B, of course with the help of Dr. Welman. I will strongly recommend Dr. Welmen as he is always willing to help students during his office hours.

It is an extremely difficult class that requires an extensive amount of time outside of the classroom. Do not fall behind. If you do, lock yourself inside and read the textbook until you are caught up. He is good answering questions and will help you when you need it. The only problem I had was he made it seem too easy, and I felt stupid on tests.

I really like him. He's super nice and just has this very pleasant aura about him. The class is no walk in the park, but it wasn't anywhere near as hard as I thought it would be after hearing everybody ****ing about how much of a killer class it is.

well this is pretty much the hardest class you could ever imagine taking so don't even think about the class unless you have to take it. dr. wellman is an awesome teacher and is very concerned with the amount of understand and knowledge the students gain. the rest depends on you.....

This is the hardest class I have ever taken, but if you study really hard, you will do alright. Dr. Wellman is an extremely nice person and he is very helpful outside of class if you want help.

Dr. Wellman's class is truly a lot of work. But as long as you study hard a seek his help outside of class you should be fine. Just be prepared to work very hard, but he really is a nice person, and helpful if you ask.

Welman is not a very efficient professor. His teaching style does not reflect his desire for the students to learn. Although is lectures are comprehendable, he does not prepare students for exams. He will dodge questions regarding critical material. He expects far too much of students. good luck all

Dr. Wellman does a great job of explaining the materials clearly and accurately. He is always fair and is always willing to help. This class is fun and very useful in life. The people who hate this class are almost always the lazy ones.
