I took the following courses from this professor: Network Fundamentals Local Area Networks Wide Area Networks Network Architecture Internetworking Devices The Internet He's a good teacher and expects you to read the books and do research about the subject. He has honestly taught me a lot about computers, I would recommend taking his classes.

Comment:

Speakes in a condescending tone when interacting with students in class and in test comments. Does not post grades on Blackboard or on the test. Does not give homework, practice tests or study guides. Poor lecture style leaves out the context and meaning of the work, which makes it tough to understand. One of the worst I've had.

This prof does not want to be an advisor. He gets very ill if you have any questions for him. Easy classes. One class he fanned out the finals and gave everyone A's. You don't really have a choice in teachers. He's the only one that teaches the classes

He has a really bad attitude if you ask him just about anything. If you need an advisor, seek someone else because he'll basically yell at you for asking for help getting your classes in order. If you can get through the boredom of lectures that really don't connect to anything, then you'll be fine. Do the homework and there you go, you passed.

Dave's classes are either him talking about his daughter or him directly reading from the book. I have taken all 8 Networking courses and the Digital logic course from this Professor and learned basically nothing. Talking to professionals in the community, I have learned he is not respected at all nor do they want his students as hires.

Not a good teacher, teaches all the computers networking class, and I can say I have not learned any computer networking from him. Extremely easy professor, just turn in the work from the book and you will do well. I have made an A in every class he taught without learning anything. Take for an easy A, if you want to learn, look elsewhere.

Excellent teacher, excellent class with hands on training in class, he will help out when needed but expects you to do your own work. There is book work which can then be applied while in class. He will work with you if you will work.

Dave "teaches" a Vendor Agnostic Approach to computer networking. The problem is this is unrealistic and useless in the real world. His courses are a joke to everyone taking them, he fails to convey the info in an understandable manner when he stops talking about his car, daughter, or taxes. 8 classes and I know nothing about computer networking..

I have had to take him for Computer networking as an Option to my major. So Networking is a large part of my education which I feel I am not getting at all. I started his classes over a year ago and now on his 4th class I feel I have learned nothing or close to nothing. I feel he was a waste of money and i feel so bad I might go to another school.

Not impressed at all. Tells way to many stories and can not seem to get on student's level to explain. Was actually rude when the class as a whole did not do good on a take home test and instead of really explaining the questions he just told us where the answer was in the book. Will not take anymore of his classes..........

Dave is a really really nice guy! I know of someone who never showed up to class and he did an instructor withdrawl to keep them from having that F on their record. I have had him for 3 classes and have enjoyed them all. He is also my advisor and has been very helpful there too. Just all around a really nice guy!

He acted like every question was in some unknown langauge. Always responded with "I do not know what your question is". Let's see, its the words right before the ?. He might be liked with on campus classes, but he is not worth taking for a distance course. I like every teacher I had except this one.
