I have taken 3 classes with Professor Cingranelli, and have benefited from all of them. He is truly a cornerstone to the already strong political science department at BU. You will not regret taking a class (or two, or three) of his. He is extremely helpful and interesting. Attending his lectures is a pleasure.

Great professor; probably the best I've ever had at BU. He is extremely helpful and lectures are interesting. Very responsive to feedback about his teaching and the textbooks at the end of the semester. Class was the perfect amount of difficulty; a good grade was attainable but effort was a must. I got an A- but definitely worked for it.

One of the best PLSC professors I have ever seen. He has a very nice personality and is experienced in his area. He makes personal comments on the issues and wants his students to do the same. Grades are fair, you don't need to worry about them. If you are interested in the subject I am sure you'll enjoy it.

I took a human rights class with him and I loved it. The dude is so cool and makes you really like his class. People bombed the midterm but he offered extra-credit to compensate for it. I aced the final and ended up with an A-. The dude is great. One of the best in Binghamton.

he's really respectful of students, and final is optional. his laid back style can fool you though-- you do need to study and work hard to do well on exams, and in the class.

If your interested in Labor law or social politics such as outsourcing or unions the textbooks are books you would read anyway. You will actually learn allot in this class. It is one of those VERY EASY to get a B you need to study allot to get a A kind of classes. It has an optional final, and he his not a strict paper grader. MANDATORY ATTENDANCE

You are require much in the course, but he tries to be flexible. Those students who gave him a 4 or 5 for easiness obvoisuly want to be nice. In actuality, it should be a 1 or 2, and possibly a 2.5
