He did nothing to help me in any way. I am a chemistry major and it was hard for me to keep up in this class, and it's supposed to be for non majors as well. I would recommend not taking him for this course.

Chem 100 was supposed to be a class geared specifically towards non-majors, but he wasn't able to connect with us. Very little instruction occurred, which is really difficult for people who aren't good in the subject. Many kids in my class are failing, which shouldn't be the case for a 100 level requirement. I would not recommend this class.

Most amazing lab prof EVER. Hilarious guy, very nearly never serious, but still manages to teach what needs to be taught.

He was not very helpful in lecture nor out of class, but was friendly out of class when you asked him for help. Basically I learned the material for myself

Oh, Dr. L :) Who would have known that such a strange, quiet little man would write hilarious lab reports, purchase grills from walmart, or wear JNCOs in his spare time. Much love, Dr. L...good teacher

Dave Langhus is the best teacher I have ever had! He helped me become a chemist and get to graduate school. Anyone would benefit from one of his classes. A great, funny, and smart man.
