Smart, dry, very boring, totally unclear, exceptionally poor lecturer. I took this class and TH102 as well. I withdrew from the class partway through the semester. Awful.

the most incompetent, scattered, awkward teacher I have ever seen in action. the textbook is utterly useless and littered with typos which hinder progress in this highly detailed, analytical class. He does not mention nor seem to notice the poor quality of the text. He consistently makes egregious errors in his examples in lecture.

Sometimes he can't explain things clearly, but his mind clearly works in different ways from most people's, and he often has several explanations for every point. If you're looking to learn, you definitely can in his class.
