Debbi was the most inspirational professor I've ever had. Very easy going and understanding. 1 group final project and 1 midterm project are the two bulk assignments for the semester. HIGHLY recommend that you take this professor!

Had her for Marriage and the family and loved her. Great teacher she really cares about her students succeeding. No test but 2 projects. Put in the effort and you'll get an A. Made lecture interesting and enjoyable. Would defiantly take her again.

Was annoyed I had to retake class bc prior credits didn't transfer. BUT, Prof. Rakowsky is great! NOT a bore, students don't realize how well they have it! Put in REAL effort for all of 2 exams, final project & SHOW UP! She comes to table with a lot of real-world experience and insight. Under appreciated and under respected by students. :-/

If you need to take this class, you have to take her. The class is easy. Only a midterm and a final. Midterm was a bit hard, you do need to study and pay attention. Make sure you write down all of her notes on the board. Always a fun class.
