She's wonderful to take a class with. She's always prepared, passionate, and interesting. Funny too. This was a new course but she handled it very well and took student feedback into consideration. Not a harsh grader with papers or exams. I love her and would definitely take her again. She's so sweet.

3 Easy papers, lectures not mandatory, studied the slides the night before, half the material is common sense. Insane amount of reading but no one actually reads them because all the info is on her slides. Easy A.

Very chill class and the three essays are incredibly easy, I would definitely recommend this course for the WcD requirement. Her two exams are easy with the right preparation (class wide study guides on google docs for the win!) and the only downside to this class is that recitation tends to be boring as Professor Carr does a good job in lectures.

She's great! The material can be boring, but she still tries her best to make the most out of it by showing videos or quirky facts. Definitely loves what she does. There is recitation, which is mandatory, but lecture isn't. Easy A if you study a little bit. Fair exams, extra credit opportunity (12 page paper, yikes!), but A is very attainable.

Great teacher. Material is a little dry but she does a good job explaining the concepts. You don't need to come to class to do well but I did because she is easy on the eye ;)

4 written assignments, midterm & final. Attending lecture isn't required (she posts the slides & summaries on sakai), but do attend recitation. The recitation before the midterm & final, the TA practically told us what was going to be on it. Focus on the WAs because they're 45% of your final grade.

Absolutely beautiful and so sweet. One of my favorite professors thus far. She seems incredibly interested in Sociology and it is almost contagious. Her class is a breeze and as long as you even skim through the readings, and go to class, you will get an A. If you want to boost your GPA and meet this sweet woman, take the class !!

Pretty easy class, just make sure you study the notes because the exams are from her notes, don't waste money on the book, its expensive I didn't even open it. Tips for her exam: Make sure you write a lot for the essay questions and define your examples otherwise you'll get points off!

Either read book or go to lecture - not necessarily both. Generous grading on papers! 2 34 MC question tests, best of 2 will be weighed more heavily! Professor is helpful, eager to help. Recitation seems unnecessary, but is mandatory. Make sure you read supplement material - it's short and helps.

Easy material-gives you what you really need to study on the exam through exam reviews. Lectures are somewhat dry due to the material, but she tries otherwise. Discussion sections are putrid at best-especially at 8:30 AM. One of the absurdly nicest professors at Rutgers.

Pretty good. Good lectures. Interesting stuff. Clear. Puts notes online. I did barely anything all year, read the online notes, and did well on exam. TAs and discussion sections are awful.

Quality class, she does a good job teaching material, but it can get boring. Very easy as long as you read the online notes before the exam. Go to review sessions for guaranteed A.
