Dr. Farro-Lynd is an excellent teacher! She goes at an easy pace and encourages students to ask questions. She tells you well in advance exactly what will be on the tests and gives out answer keys to homework that you can use to study. This class is easy if you know how to do basic algebra and long division. Definitely take this class with her!

Professor Farro-Lynd is very organized and really knows her stuff. She explains things clearly and is willing to answer questions as long as you show effort in trying to understand. You will take a lot of notes in this class, however, the tests are easy as long as you skim over them beforehand.

She speaks very quietly and it is difficult to pay attention to her. She seems like a nice person, but she gets annoyed if you ask her a question. She does take attendance, but if you only miss three classes or under, you're fine. Make sure you study!

For a class that should be fairly easy she makes it so hard! She is incredibly rude and talks down to her students. She also hands out worksheets for you to work on more than she actually teaches. She is the worst professor I have had so far! DO NOT TAKE!!

Farro-Lynd seemed to be a really nice professor until I wanted to discuss my grade on a test with her. She was very rude to me and raised her voice many times. She took off full credit (8 pts.) for a problem I got right. She didn't like my "method" even though I had work. Overall, it's a pretty easy class. She teaches too fast though.

Probably the nicest lady ever but the way she grades is insane. I would make one little mistake on a ten point problem and get 8 points off for it. I didn't do bad in the class but my grades didn't reflect how much I knew. If you take the class, be percise. Oh and you have to show up for class. She's a stickler for attendence!

I enjoyed taking Math 108 & 109 with her. The material is fairly easy, and only a little bit of studying is needed. I don't consider myself to be good at math and I got A's in her class. Recommended.

Shes TERRIBLE. I hated every minute of her class and I'm bad at math to begin with, but I honestly think she made me worse. Its supposed to be easy material but the way she teaches it makes it so difficult. its the same notes and worksheets that she used 900 years ago and can't teach at all. I failed the class because she failed to teach me.

Very easy class. You are only learning what you will teach your elementary school students. Notes every day that go along with the homework. She tells you exactly what will be on the tests. Very nice lady but a stickler about cell phones.

she acts all sweet but really if you talk to her one and one with any problem you have in the class she is HELPLESS and RUDE!!! The course work is easy don't get me wrong but if you screw up once in the class she has no sympathy.

She's a sweetheart, but self-righteous. She gives almost no work but her notes are ALL definitions. Classes are the ultimate sedative and her worksheets are the same ones she used ten years ago. She's the definition of unoriginal. Classes never end fast enough. I'm really looking forward to taking MATH 109 with someone else next semester.

math is my worst subject and i couldnt keep up with her notes, i missed one class and failed the test because she teaches so much information in 1 class it is hard to catch up but she does tell you what is on the exams, study and you will do fine

Math has always been my worst, but she made it one of the classes i did best in this year. She tells you exactly what you need to study, and as long as you put time into it, you'll get easy As and Bs. Shes one of my favorite teachers.
