She is amazing. She will do anything to help her students and is readily available. She is very kind and aproachable and knows what she is talking about. Her grading is consistant, fair and feedback is very helpful. Excellent professor, highly recomend!

Excellent teacher, even better if you come to class. gives a few in-class quizzes that are easy if you actually read the material. Very reasonable workload for a 6 credit course. Lots of fun. Will make you work in groups, but basically only within class. Approx. 4 papers, 1 oral presentation (that you get to do in a group) and then reading response

Very nice and helpful. You will get out of this class what you put into it. If you follow the deadlines for the drafts and be sure to choose a topic you are interested in, the paper isn't terribly difficult and if you are having trouble she is very helpful. I definitely recommend her.

She's the nicest lady ever and she's a great teacher. She's funny too, in a subtle and soft sort of way. Very meek and demure but razor sharp brain. Excellent teacher. She makes Shakespeare enjoyable to anyone, and she is also very clear about whatr she expects and what to expect from her. Take her!

I took this class in the summer. Met insanely early but the lectures managed to keep me awake. Clear expectations, fair grader, very knowledgable. Pay attention, do the work and you should have no problem getting an A - I did.

I have known Professor Hodges since I was a Freshman in my Honors 110 class, and later in two Shakespeare courses (English 335, and 336), and I've always enjoyed her courses. She is very intersting, smart and helpful and inspires students to learn!
