Diana is a nice person but she is not a scholar. For basic language and literature courses, she is okay but anything beyond that is not her forte. Her classes can be interesting at times but I did not feel inspired most of the time. I was very disappointed with her lack of knowledge of literary theory. Take Levine if you really want to learn.

I was really scared to take this class because I'm not fluent in spanish but she was great! Not only did she make me feel comfortable but she was super caring. You learn through easy assignments, watch movies and have a few quizzes. The class sounds really easy but you do learn a lot. She's fair and understanding and funny! Definitely take her!

Honestly...it is easy and she is a sweetheart and very amusing, but if you actually are serious about learning spanish I wouldn't recommend her. I was seriously looking to minor in Spanish but after her class I was NOT prepared for the next spanish class.

LOVE LOVE LOVE her! take her if you can. I definitely improved on my spanish with her and learned new things. Plus she's really nice and she's funny. She makes classes fun and interesting. She's also easy..it's an easy a BUT she does teach and everyone learns something new.

This grad class was a joke! Did not learn a thing from her. Diana is a very sweet and caring person, but I felt her class was as useless as one of Zapata's. If you're going for a PhD, I would suggest taking someone else.

I took her for Spanish 4 so you have to speak Spanish for the entire class. If you don't know a word, she will help you. Quizzes, two short essays, Mid-Term, and Final. Try your best and she might give you a good grade for effort. I got Bs and Cs on the tests, but I got an A for the Semester.

She gives a few papers, but they are not too difficult. She goes over the details of what she teaches very greatly in in depth. She cares a lot about her students and helps in any way she can. She is very into what she teaches and her student's work and involvement. I think she is an excellent teacher and i DEFINITELY recommend taking her!
