Simple and easy class if youre good at math. Hes really boring and just recites what the textbook says. Everyone moves at their own pace which I liked.

This is an practically an online class that you're forced to attend. The in class "lectures" are pointless and tedious as you're already looking over the online textbook in class. Everyone moves along at their own pace and you'll have to depend on yourself. Donald Harden is extremely boring and not helpful with the lectures. Find another professor.

Really difficult class, and he does not make it easier. I would defiantly rethink this professor choice if you already have signed up. He is nice, but as far as teaching I would pick someone else.

I thought professor Harden was actually good we had him along with the TA's for any help. While he lectured on certain topics and not all, I believe it was enough for most of us to get by. Definitely read the online book. This class is an easy A because there were 100 tries to complete each homework assignment and step by step video for each exam.

If you would like to take him you should expect to 100% depend on yourself. To pass this course, you should focus more on the non-credit test review, the practice vids, and the summary for each chapter.

This is a course where you learn by yourself. I never once listened to any of his or the assistant's lectures and passed with an A+. Students are required to log 70 minutes in the system everyday and are allowed three absences throughout the entire semester. The course is online and all grades come from the online textbook.

Comment:

Professor Harden tries to help his students by reviewing the lessons. However, it's hard to gain any knowledge of the lessons when he continually makes mistakes himself everytime we have a review. If you want help, you should ask the student assistants not him. Be prepared to have a study group for his class you'll need it.

The class is online, but you have to time in for 70 minutes for attendance, so I recommend taking it online. The lectures are hard to actually pay attention to. I wish I knew the class was going to be online, because the attendance policy is annoying and counts as part of grade.

When you take statistics with Harden, be prepared to be able to learn the material yourself. His lectures will not help you, nor are they interactive enough to help you learn at all. When another teacher comes in to help review for the test, PAY ATTENTION! She is the who will actually help you learn and understand everything.

Easily the worst class I've ever taken. If you like paying tuition to teach yourself how to use Excel and read a virtual textbook in a math lab, this class is for you. Harden struggles to get through example questions during lectures, often inputting the wrong numbers or clicking the wrong boxes. Likes to repeat himself ad nauseam. Just terrible.

Professor Harden is very reliant on online coursework. He teaches very little in an actual class, doesn't offer advice, and is generally rather awkward. I'm thankful the online coursework is so concise, otherwise I'd be completely lost. His "baby" at the university is the Commons MILE, a math lab he oversees where students are required to do work.

Harden is a pretty useless teacher. He tries but he just isn't good at it. Go to his class just for your attendance grade. Make sure you attend breakout sessions and complete all the homework. The class itself isn't too hard but you're basically teaching yourself

To be honest, he seems great but he cannot teach period, but his class is very passable. All you need to do is attend his classes because attendance is mandatory in both lecture and COMMONS MILE lab classes - but you can zone out during his classes and because you're stuck in the lab for an hour and a half, you can finish all your homework there.

Harden's 50 minute lecture is the most pointless thing on earth. E-math teaches you everything, so just show up to his lecture to get your grade, because attendance unfortunately matters. Also, show up to class on time or he'll be annoying and kind of heckle you about it.

Absolutely terrible. He is the worst math teacher ever. I consider myself to be excellent at math (got a perfect 800 on sat math). Coming from me he is the worst teacher to have. He will never explain anything. He trys to help you but then ends up confusing himself. Harden is helpless. He is a different kind of useless.

Don't take Harden. His teaching style is poor at best. When he tries to do examples on the board, he gets confused and backtracks. Paying attention to him only confuses me more. Attendance is mandatory; earlier this semester he went after a student who left early yelling "EXCUSE ME! class isn't over yet!" She was going to use the restroom. Awkward.

You have to teach yourself in the mandatory math lab to do well in his class. I would say to just skip his class all together if attendance wasn't counted to strictly by him. He offers absolutely no help and listening to his teaching almost confuses you more. Just go to math lab and get help from the students in there and you should be fine.
