Taught by a TA. The TA rarely responded to help e-mails, nor to missing homework. It would magically show up, and when following up on a grade, I never got a reply back. Also, not on campus during office hours. You don't have to come to class. Easy work, easy A. He didn't control the class, a student had control over him, which was annoying. Easy A

She is a fantastic instructor! Very clear in class... even though I found lecture material to cover the just the basics that will be presented on tests. However, the homework and online notes are excellent preparation! Very helpful one-on-one as well, she loves teaching and does a great job!

Donna is an excellent teacher. I have honestly never heard anything bad about her that had any merit. She is passionate about learning and making the learning experience a fun one. She wants the student to enjoy digging into a subject as much as she does. Great classes for hands-on learners and people who like to truly get the fundamentals.

Excellent professor. Works very hard to make sure students understand material. I get the impression that she really WANTS students to know what she is teaching. Hard exams but she rewards effort and hard work.

Prof. Meyers is a very fun professor. She helps clearify the topics and gives as many examples as needed. She keeps that class awake by participation and understanding of the subject. The class is all LOGIC so be prepared to use your brain. There is no coding in this class. Overall, the class was fun and interesting.

Dr. Meyers is an exceptional instructor, adviser, and all around nice person. I had her for discrete mathematics and algorithm analysis. My only advice is that, as your should with any class, SHOW UP FOR LECTURES. She grades based on your understanding of the material. She will always drop what she's doing if you are having conceptual issues.

I've taken 4 classes with her and she is by far the best teacher. Extremely helpful with anything including other classes. Loves teaching. Assignments and tests are fairly easy because she provides you with all the materials you need. Classes are always easy to pass, but you'll end up learning a TON!!

Professor is brilliant, articulate, clear, passionate, sympathetic. The easiness of her class is based on the clarity of her approach and teaching techniques. A programmers programer, a must have as a professor, and this one knows how to teach and likes teaching, an A+. Recommend that you take for all of your curriculum requirements where applic.

Don't care for the teacher but her class is an easy A. I never went to class and will be getting an A. See gives you all the questions that will be on the exam early in the class. Take it for the A but the class in general sucks and is extremely boring (I went the first week).

Finally a computer science instructor that I can understand. Very generous on homework and lab assignments. Exams are hard, can make and break. Undoubtedly one of the best professors at CSUB. Solid foundation builder and teaches real world programming skills. Highly recommend.

Donna is a great teacher. She is proably one of the best instructors in our department. I think the reason why she has many negative comments is because those students who take SCI 350B are not use to the workload that many CS students must endure. Quit your sniveling!! Donna is hot.
