I have taken and dropped two history classes but I was able to finish this one with little effort. He gives you plenty of time to write final paper and loves class participation. He made me think about History differently and I really enjoyed the class. Also, gives you test Qs before exams and allows cheat sheet. Just do your reading!

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!! The most boring, over analyzing speaker! Talks in depth about details but leaves out overall points. Tons of reading, horribly difficult midterm and impossible to write final paper!

Lots of material covered, heavy reading. 4-hour lecture. He's a great teacher, though, and has a wonderful sense of humor. If he sees you putting forth effort, he'll work with you so you don't fail.
