Although his class was my hardest class that semester I managed an A and enjoyed every minute in the class. If you do take it use the book and do the entire study guide and know all of the vocab and you'll at least pass. He's very opinionated and passionate about the topic making it very easy to pay attention. High suggest his class.

Great professor! Teaches very clearly and tests are hard only if you don't study. Attendance is mandatory only during two weeks for a jury trial. Really nice guy and I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Day was my undergrad professor at PSU Altoona. I have since completed my MSCJ degree and I'm employed by the PA Dept. of Corrections. Even after grad. Dr. Day assisted me in my search for a Grad program. I got into the best MSCJ program in the country based on Dr. Day's way of teaching. I had a 3.2 GPA before DAY and a 3.6 after.

Please for the love of god do not take Dr. Day. He is impossibly misleading. He is fun and interesting in class but he makes his exams unnecessarily hard under the pretense "it is college it is suppose to be hard just because" ... sorry doctor Day but it is a 100 level intro course and it is NOT suppose to be hard. TAKE SOMEONE ELSE!

LOVE DR. DAY! Class is SOOO interesting. You DEF have to study, but he makes it so interesting you want. As long as you do study though, you will do well. A bit cut of guard with the first test, but the next ones come easier.

I had him for Juvenile delinquency during my freshman year. I am now a senior at UP and he is still one of the best professors I have ever had. I still remember some of his stories! Tests are hard, but as long as you do the work you will be fine. His passion for the subject is alot of what makes him such a great prof. highly recommended!

His lectures are very thorough and he is always prepared for class. Sometimes a lil too cranked out on caffeine, but he makes it more interesting that way. Take notes, do your reading, and you'll do fine! Oh and ladies I agree, he's attractive in black.

Very nice prof...study guides basically tell you to know everything, but it's all in the notes and the tests come right out of them as well. Writes everything on the board. Just write down what he does and you'll be fine.

I was having problems with the class, and he worked with me. He's kind of tough at times, but he'll bend over backwards for his students. Also there's something attractive about a prof who rides a motorcycle and has an earring!
