I wasn't particularly interested in the subject matter. But Ms. Jones is a good teacher who makes the bitter pill a little easier to swallow. She grades pretty tough on the grad level. Be prepared to do a lot of reading!!!

Dr. Jones is one of the best professors I've ever had. She's incredibly intelligent and her teaching style blends her wealth of knowledge with her fantastically dry sense of humor. She's also incredibly beautiful but in a classy understated way. I have a major crush on her

Lots of reading, but you don't really need to do it, because the multiple choice quizzes are easy to guess on, and she gives copious notes. Shows lots of cool clips in class. Doesn't pick the lab content, but honestly guys, those movies were all awesome in their own unique way. I enjoyed the lab. Especially La Ronde and Soy Cuba. So there!

not too hard but definitely not that easy.. there's a quiz every class so you better do the 20+ pages of reading each night and stay through the entire film lab. the movies in the lab SUCK. only take this class if you're a film major and have to.. definitely not a filler class.

Prof Jones is a decent teacher. She cares about what she is teaching, although the subject matter is exceedingly boring. If you are into analyzing, like in Eng. lit classes, then you will probably like the course. Otherwise, steer clear!

Probably too much reading, but she's very nice and makes class enjoyable. She knows how to make your essays better, and she tries hard to help you, but she has trouble reteaching you Critical Thinking and Analysis, which are her favorite things.

she's fun and keeps the class atmosphere light. She is big on class discussions. Grades fairly hard on essays. Issues very little homework assignments, but a lot of reading.
