Ffor advanced Comp II, the workload was bearable given that class discussions were easy to bs even if you did not read. I only read the works that I wrote essays over-- 3 medium length essays, and a final. She is a slightly harsh grader, but not impossible to get an A given that we do a rough draft then final draft, and she is nice.

I dominated the classroom discussions and completed quality work on time. Pretty much A or A- work for any other professor but she just won't budge past B+. Very frustrating as the bar is set WAY too high for a 200 level course, and a core to say the least. Worked my butt off and very salty about it. Reading the material is a must in her class.

Professor Frost is very enthusiastic about the subject, but is not very good at actually helping students learn about it. She is a tough grader, without really helping to explain how you can improve. She also clearly plays favorites, and expects you to put her class above all of your others.

All we did was discuss about poetry and short stories. Grading is hard on papers. However, not helpful at all in learning how to write papers. The final, is an inclass essay and multiple choice test. I do not recommend!

She is very challenging-she gives you alot of work but she is excellent in explaining the texts and making you appreciate them. She truly loves the subject and her enthusiasm is evident. If you dont want to work dont take her.
