I believe in no gods. I made it very clear from the start of the class. Still, Father O'Neil made me feel welcomed and understood. His sense of humor is abrasive yet entertaining, he made a lifelong atheist actually enjoy a religion class. Arguably the most pleasant Christian I've ever crossed paths with. 10/10 would take again.

I loved Father O'Neil, especially when he tells you how is it straight up no sugar coating anything. He is a great professor, has a funny personality and keeps it real with his students when it comes to his tests and what he expects from you as a student. The only thing I didn't like were the weekly homework assignments.

Took this class in spring 2016. This course was too much for a 100 level course. Exams had 50+ vocab words every time. All the questions are opened. He grades test unfairly. He favors men. When he grades your exam, make sure a question he marks you wrong is actually wrong. Every exam I had 3+ questions that were right that he marked wrong good luck

Call me crazy but I didnt care much for the class. I am not a religious person at all so it was hard for me to follow all the stories esp since sometimes he assumed we knew them all. The class dragged on for me. Really nice guy but not a class that I enjoyed at Felician

He's funny. He's a priest but people tend to take advantage of him. He'll buy you pizza if you answer his questions and he'll give money to you if you get it right. He loves to joke with the jocks and the rest of the men and he tries to persuade the ladies in class that he's the best looking gentleman on earth. But he's a very good teacher and he makes his point. He tells you what you need to know and says it short and sweet.

Father O'Neil is an excellent professor. Great stories and a sense of humor. The "smoking chalk" joke gets a little old but he uses the same jokes to make the class more lighthearted, fun and interesting. Tests, midterm and finals are always defining atleast 50 terms. Piece of cake!
