Baulieu is perhaps the greatest professor you could ask for â€" he posts class notes online, teaches at the perfect pace, and gives plenty of practice problems. Also, the exams are very manageable if you actually study the material. Don’t let the other ratings here scare you; Discrete Math is a fun and rewarding class if you put the effort into it.

Definitely one of the worst professors I've ever had. He was very disorganized and wasted our time covering useless or common sense information. The class itself aims to cover valuable material but Forest managed to make it worthless.

Difficult subject to understand but he is a fair professor. The point distribution needs to be a little bit more balanced between homework and exams. Overall, he is quite helpful and tries to make the class tolerable with jokes and stories.

Difficult material, great professor. I have disliked most of my college math courses until his. This isn't easy stuff, don't expect Calc 1/2 level material. Study is required and practice problems are given aside from the graded homework, do them! He will gladly help you during office hours but when you don't understand, you have to tell him.

He does a poor job explaining the material. The questions he gives in his homework and exams are usually not related to the questions from the textbook or from the notes he gives us.

Very hard. When you ask him a question, he doesn't really answer it. Many students have asked him questions and I've watched him not really answer what they were looking for, and tends to not really explain things too well. Used to love math and do amazing in it.. This class makes Calculus look like a piece of cake.

Very interesting teacher, and teaches the material very well. Wish he was teaching other classes that wasn't Discrete Math. Very interesting professor, just the subject matter is sleep provoking. Very, very lax teacher overall, that doesn't really mind what you do in class. At times would give homework before lecture so you could do it in class

Very interesting, fun to listen to. Teaches material very well and has it stick in your head. Only complaint is that he goes too slowly sometime.

Prof. Baulieu is the best comp sci professor at UWGB. He does a great job of breaking down complex topics into easily understood chunks.

After calc 1 with G.Davis - I looked forward to calc 2. Homework was extremely difficult. When asked, "where are we in the book", he was unable to answer. He teaches free style often attempting to solve 1 problem using 3 chalk boards as the total instruction for 1 class period. I was very dissappointed

I agree. His courses were one of the most difficult ones I had at UWGB. But ask any decent and competent computer science student, and by this I mean not just a coder, and this material is supposed to be hard. I really have to thank him for preparing me for graduate school. I'd recommend him for anyone who's truly interested in CSci.
