I felt my grades on papers always were reflective of the work I put in. If you can't take a joke stay away from him. Some people feel picked on but something he tries to teach is converting an argument into writing. So some of his teasing is in hope that someone will intelligently respond.

Good guy, but for some reason he just didn't like me despite my frequent participation... He is real hard to follow, but if you can grasp what he is saying you will catch a glimpse of his brilliance of the subject material. I'm an exception, but if you show up to class and just do what is assigned to you then you will end up with a good grade.

I agree with the comment below, you people are being crybabies. I took two courses with Frank and the lowest grade I got was a B- (remember: attendance is mandatory). Frank is willing to kid with you if you're willing to kid back; don't take it personally if he makes fun of you. You're all acting like you've never seen an eccentric old man before.

People are just being crybabies. He's not an easy professor, but that's because he actually wants you to learn how to write coherent papers. Very nitpicky with terms (and women aren't a race), but again its his way of helping. He may seem mean but that's just his way of getting his students to work hard to prove him wrong. Got an A- in his class

Worst Prof in Bloomsburg by FAR. In my "Women" paper, I wrote, "Women have come a long way in their race for equality." He circled race and wrote, "Women are a gender, not race." When I tried to correct him, he rambled on and on and I gave up. Got a C on the paper and my worst grade in the class since being at Bloom. Give us a favor and RETIRE.

I liked Dr. Peters and he is a really nice professor but he is hard to understand sometimes. His teaching styles are also very boring. It's an easy class if you just show up and do the work. Most of the homework he talks about it class and just gives you the answers.

very nice and sweet old guy. he should retire though as his teaching and thoughts are veryy old school. he grades really hard but just wants you to become a great writer! he acts mean at first but gets nicer, give him a break. only problem is giving tough grades; if he doesnt like it, you will not do well. think twice about taking comp with him.

He's a sweet old man but really his class is really hard. I was always told by my teachers that my writing was exemplary but in his class my average grade was a low c. His class involved him telling long stories about where he used to live, his family, and well anything but composition. If you miss his class he will fail you, I almost failed.

I think you are all a bit too harsh. Dr. Peter's is a great professor from whom I learned a great deal. His teaching style is a little alternative, but just communicate with him if you don't understand something, and he will help you out. He doesn't want to see anyone do poorly, and will do everything in his power to make sure you succeed.

Terrible professor, belongs in a nursing home where he can be free to ramble off his incomprehensible rants and judgements. Best to agree with his political ideologies as well if you hope to get a decent grade on any paper with an inkling of politics involved. He is the perfect example of the failing education system.

By far the worst Prof. I've ever had. Does not teach and expects the world. Rips apart every single word in your paper and grades based on whether he likes you or not. Asked him for help on a paper and he belittled me and was nasty.I fixed my paper according to his corrections. He crossed out every word and said it was bad. Avoid him at all costs.

this professor is by far the worst teacher i have ever had. he failed me because i didnt have a thesis sentence, which i did it just wasnt the exact one of his on blackboard. he is so boring i want to kill myself every time i have to go to his class. he singles people out and thinks hes funny. hes old and gross, and he needs to retire

he is such a nice guy, but hes a little hard to understnand. The first day he walked in and was mumbling and slurring his words and i thought that it would be a task to understand him, but its not that bad. if you go to his office hours and ask him something along the lines of can you check if my paper is in the right direction, he'll fix it.

Peter's is very strange, but nice. He doesn't really know how to teach and expects you to learn everything from the book which he never really goes over. He is really easy though, and will usually give you extra time on a paper.
