Comment:
Frank is a hard-ass, let that be known first and foremost. He's very straight forward and to the point in his lectures, which tend to be incredibly helpful. His quizzes are easy, and he pretty much hands them to you. He does tend to hold a grudge, however, and he's a stickler for attendance and working hard. If he doesn't like you, you'll know it.

Frank is an alright guy his test are fairly easy but you do have to do a little studying if you dont already know the material. He does mutiple choice an short answer so it might get difficult at times and hes kinda a tough grader overall he is one of the best professors in the CS major

Made me DESPISE the Computer Science major. I switched out of the major immediately after taking his class. He quizzes were for the most part easy but they would often contain unfair surprise questions on topics he had not gone over in class. Even for a simple class dealing with his teaching style was unbearable. DO NOT TAKE A CLASS WITH HIM!

I had him for a mandatory class i had to take for my major and he was very unfair and rude. I would ask him questions and he would talk down to me. He was not very helpful and expects you to already know the material. In my class he was kind of ****, favoring the guys.

I've had Frank for many years, and wasn't familiar with his black/white and no gray style in the beginning. As I matured I realized computers are b&w his method just works. His classes are challenging in a good way, straight and to the point, has a bad day on occasion but when said & done I think he one of the finest Professors at FSC.

I've had Frank several times. You'll learn a lot in his classes. Very gruff and not always fair, but one of the best for presenting knowledge. He's moderately helpful but doesn't seem to personally care whether you get a lot out of the class. Be ready to work hard for a good grade.

Good Class, Frank makes you learn what is important and makes sure you know it. Tests & quizes are easy if you pay attention in class. Homework should take no longer than 1.5 hours if you pay attention in class.

Frank is a good prof. Often his notes and examples aren't prepared ahead of time and it's hard to figure out what the correct answer was once he gets it straight. Questions are hard to get in since he talks almost nonstop. But Frank is super-helpful on labs and always makes time during office hours.
