keeps the atmosphere light, and ends a handful of the lectures with a fun demo! even if the class is early, you definitely won't fall asleep. he's also a self proclaimed DeadHead and PhishHead, overall a pretty cool dude and very understanding of everything

One of my favorite teachers, ever. Dr. McGowan will keep you entertained during class especially when he can tell people are getting bored with the material. He explains things in a manner that is easily understandable to college students. He is available anytime for extra help, one on one sessions can pay off.He is a great teacher and a great guy.

Great Teacher, willing to take the time if you aren't picking up a certain topic. Makes class enjoyable with demos, and interesting stories. Note taking can be pretty heavy, but I felt it was relevant and used my notes a lot.
