Comment:

He is a very annoying professor that doesn't know what he is teaching ever. Walks into class all the time without a lesson plan and sits and says "Ummm" for half of the class. Cancels class quite a bit. 4 papers total. Last paper is 10 pages in length. The only nice thing is that he gives an extra credit opportunity. Would NOT recommend this prof.

Comment:

Old man that is passionate about English. His lectures are often all over the place, and he gets off topic often. At the end of the day, just wants you to succeed. 4 papers and not a very tough grader, the writing just takes a lot of work. Not sure if I would take him again, but would def adopt as vulgar, punk-chic grandpa.

He tries. He is very random and all over the place, so if that's how your brain works, I wish you luck. It's hard for me personally to focus in his class because of it, & we often don't do a lot. He begins every class reading dramatically from a short story or poetry book. You can get off not reading, just make sure you do the writing assignments.

Super chill old guy. Makes jokes all the time; sometimes they're funny, but most of the time he'll just laugh at himself. You have to show up to class because attendance is graded but I watched Netflix every day in his class. Cancels class all the time, once a week on average. 4 papers, one book that you actually have to read. Easy A

What a great professor! I am not a fan of English but I loved this class! I learned a lot when writing the papers. I would take this class again in a heartbeat. I would strongly recommend him as a professor. He is always willing to look over your paper and help you out. Great class!

He's confusing and goes on rants in class. 2 tests which study guides are given for. 2 papers that are graded fairly easy. He can be funny at times. His grading criteria is not very clear. Do the readings or else you won't understand.

2 hour english class felt like 6 hours. Very very boring lectures and papers are very vague. He spends weeks explaining how to write the papers but you leave every class with no clue how to do anything. Easy grader and will get a good grade in class but is like death to show up to. Take at own risk.

One of the nicest professors on campus. Very approachable, and he enjoys teaching. He can be kind of confusing at times, but if you do the readings, and attend class, you will do just fine. The class was kind of boring at times, but it's an easy one to take.

I graduated with a Writing degree from WSU @ 11 years ago & I look back fondly on Prof. Eddy. Yes, he's a rambler, but will expose you to new concepts, ideas and people. Yes, he's not a tough grader, but he works hard to get you engaged in your work. Yes, he's extreme left in many of his views, but he's a dreamer. He believes in the power of words!

Mythology: Let me tell you, this class was an absolute STRUGGLE! Make sure you take this class with some pals otherwise you will not make it through. Eddy is a very nice guy, and an easy grader, but you have to keep up with the boring readings if you want to succeed. Twangs and Oroboros.Also his full denim suits are hot. That is all.

Really nice guy. Do not take this class if you don't like writing, it's lots of essays but he gives you lots of time to complete and helps you with them if you need it. He's extremely nice and cares about his students. I really enjoyed him!

Most boring class i have ever taken. I dreaded going. Once you hand in an essay, you start another one right away, lots of interviewing for essays and research.. the lowest he grades is a C which is good, i guess.. but I thought it was hard... maybe find someone else.

I absolutly loved Dr. Eddy's Creative Writing class, you didn't always have to go and you didn't really learn anything, but you get to write a lot and he is a pretty easy grader. I would definitely recommend this class in a heart beat!
