Comment:

Class was not very difficult but it is almost all groupwork. Why you get the grade you do is kind of a mistery. Did lectures well though, he went through material quick and did not dwell on things too long.

Comment:

Good class overall. Unfortunately, most of the grade was based on group papers. One group member didnt even bother to show up for the final presentation, not the prof's fault obviously but a major annoyance nonetheless. The papers require a lot of work and research, but if you've not put together a lot of business plans before, you learn a lot.

Grading is totally arbitrary. Very few comments on cases. Following advice doesn't affect grade. Final grade didn't make sense mathematically. Grades on class participation but only knew the name of maybe three students. Lectures directly from book including images. Rated hard because there is no indication of how to get a good grade.

Prof. Morin runs through this class quickly. You get out early everynight. Assignments and Project are easy

He exhausts topics, but goes over them thoughly, if you have questions, he is more than willing to help you. All notes are on power points, midterm was open book. Slightly boring, but if you have patience, then you will learn a lot.

Very hard class if you dont know anything about databases. I had a good knowledge going in, so I did well, but others will not. Not very clear in explaining things. Too much to learn in too short of time. Class gets out quickly. 3hr class lasts 1hr.
