Really difficult professor! He wasn't bad, but there is so much work and an insane amount of writing. If you even forget one source, enjoy your F. Very tough grader.

I took this class online. Greg states exactly what he expects for both homework and test. If you do what he expects, you will pass with 100%. However, if you do not cite sources in both text and MLA citation, you will receive a 0 on the tests. He is relentless about citation. There is bonus available, but you must work for it.

Prof. Kiser is pretty good if you take him online. He seems really tough and sends a lot of emails that might come off as rude but overall he grades fast and just wants you to turn in all your assignments on time. Late work is not tolerated and he closes his discussions on Saturday. Its honestly an easy day as long as you put the work in.

I expected this teacher to be super hard but he was not. He explains in great detail what his expectations are for the class and as long as you do the work you will get the grade. You only get the grade you work to get. I would take him again. He also was easy to get a hold of through email.

I took an online class with Mr. Kiser. You'll pass if you do the weekly chapter reading, quiz, discussions posts, and 2 exams. Offers extra credit work. No late work and makeups! Will help you if you ask him and responds in a timely manner. Not much interaction with Mr. K in the online class setting, but his instructions are very straightforward.

I think this teacher forgot why he started teaching. Felt like he was trying to fail me rather than help me do well in his class. Reached out several times to make it clear I wanted to do well in his class and if he could be more helpful.

Being an online class, it was all basically self-taught. A lot of reading. Make sure you read all of his instructions on everything. He's a stickler for citing sources. Got a couple zeros because I didn't cite the textbook.

I have heard lots of good things about Mr. Kiser, though one thing for sure is that he does not have a good policy when it comes to online classes. If you are a working student that is taking heavy times during the week attempt to get your job to work with you because Mr. Kiser will not. You will miss tests and you will miss discussions

Took summer fast track 2012. History 2013. Be prepared to work. Do the work and you will be fine. Don't, you will not make it. Be thorough in your exam questions, could mean the difference between a F and an A. If you fail this class, you simply did not participate at all. Teacher very clear with expectations. Would take this teacher again.

Kiser is the best History teacher I have ever had!I had him for American History to 1877. He explains things very clearly and his notes that he offers on blackboard are very helpful for studying for his tests. He is very entertaining. Attendance to class is extremely important but it is rarely boring because Kiser makes the lectures fun.

The only people who might complain about Mr. K are those who were looking for a blow-off class. If you want to learn and have fun doing it - take him! I am now considering a minor in history because of him. Follow your syllabus, go to class, participate, put forth your best and you will do fine.

I took this class online and I did a lot of work but it wasn't too difficult. You know everything you need to do and have a whole semester for your book review. The exams were not so easy but it is all open book so it just took some time to find the answers because you have to comprehend the reading in the book. I would recommend this class.

best teacher i've ever had. very funny, clear on expectations, fair on grading exams. only 3 exams, all essay. one quiz online weekly, and a book report due at the end of the semester. i would take him again in an instant. be prepared to take notes the entire class. attendance isn't mandatory, but directly affects your grade bc you miss the notes.

This teacher was very funny, but he spent far too much time joking around. For an undegraduate class, he required far too much. He just talks about funny points in history. He expects students to remember everything from one lecture to another. Don't take him under any circumstances! He is just worthless!
