Comment:
Learned nothing in this class. Gretchen spent entire classes talking about her personal life and would have the audacity to yell at students for doing poorly on her (difficult) exams. She would sometimes ask students what we were learning that day and needed to refer to the rubric. Aim higher than taking this useless class.

LEAVE WHILE YOU CAN. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS CLASS. I BOMBED THE FIRST EXAM EVEN WITH HOURS OF STUDYING. The way she grades is confusing. There is no clear cut rubric. Readings are heavy and difficult to understand. Not an easy A or even an easy C. I would not wear my seatbelt while driving to this class.

She is the most disrespectful professor I have ever had here at Temple University. She honestly went on a whole tangent of why going to the bathroom during her class is disrespectful. She would not listen to our point of view and when she said, she became hostile, angry, and upset. I advise looking at other options because taking this professor.

This professor is great. She makes class really interesting by relating the material to present day issues. She had us to poster presentations, and that was great for learning and also fun.

EXCELLENT PROFESSOR. I am graduating next week and I can name only three remarkable professors that I have had during my career at Temple, and Gretchen is on of them.

I had Dr. Condran for soc 0825 which is a statistics class. I was already a senior in the Psychology program when I took this class so I already had base knowledge. Hints: If you are a psych major, take this course as your gen ed math, it will help you later. She says the book is not mandatory... BUY IT ANYWAY! She doesnt go over everyhing.

She is really all over the place but she is very willing to help, very available & does PP. She lets you turn in work late if you need help. Will practically do your work for you. GRADES ON A DBL CURVE so everyone will do well. Exam prep isn't always clear though.

This class is so easy, and if you are having trouble, she is always available for office hours to help you understand what you did wrong on a test or for extra help in general. She provides some extra credit, and there are only 3 tests. The other grades are mostly assignments the TA's grade which are easy A's if you listen in recitation.

Gretchen tries very hard to make the difficult material as easy as she can. However she goes way too fast for a class of over 100. Her tests aren't any harder than the material. Completing all work is a must. Overall not a terrible class though.

Nice lady, but absolutely zero content in lectures. I payed attention in class but she didn't teach anything that was on the test. She acknowledged that this was a gen ed for people who don't care about math, but made the test all short answer for a lecture. Don't take this class for your math gen ed.

Nice lady who enjoys what she teaches. However, she doesn't have a good teaching method...or really any teaching method at all, can be confusing, and barely explains anything. Luckily I had an awesome TA. I would not recommend her if you struggle with math.

I was TRICKED into thinking Quanatative Methods was a GenEd math class for people who really aren't good at math. HAH. Yeah right. This is a true statistics class! This class/professor are ridiculous. Difficult, long homework assignments and the quizzes were very hard. I am aggravated I took this class with Condran. She's all over the place.
