Dr. Tsao is well respected and very passionate about teaching. He is a fair grader and has a lot of knowledge to share with his students. Although his class goes by very slowly its best to attend. He video records his lectures and posts them. I was first so scared to take this class but I am so glad I took this class with this professor.

Prof Tsao taught us in year 2009. He was a great lecturer and it was wonderful to attend his class. Learnt a lot in Operations Research and Management Science. Would love to go back and work on his problems again. Lot of practical problems...

He is the king of confusion. He switches between the topics all the time. He gives too much HW every session and the terrible part is, you will find lots of HW questions not tought yet n he will go through them in the next session. The only good thing about him is, he curves the grades. He also twists the exam problems too much.

My professor for Management Science. Builds the fundamentals strongly. Explains the concepts clearly. Spends time in clearing all the doubts. Real time practical applications are discussed.

He is a visiting professor of OR at my university in India. Taught us an advanced course on Management Sci. Compared to the previous instructor, he emphasizes more on clarity and intuition. Manages class proceeding with great elan. Would strongly really recommended his elective to all MBA students. One of best profs I have learned from !

A great professor!! Learnt a lot. Don't miss your hw, they are difficult, you need google a lot. Midterms and finals are nearly the same as your hws questions. He is very helpful and patient, if you don't understand, go ask him.

Believe me guys, he is an extraordinary professor who actually enjoys teaching. Although the subject is utterly useless, he makes it interesting. His exams are difficult and nobody seems to understand anything. The open book exams are your lifeline in this class. I got 60%'s on his exams and still ended up with a C+. Take this guy.

He's a nice guy, but his explanations aren't very clear. His lectures only make sense if you already know the material before you come to class. He gives a lot of homework. His tests are pretty hard, but he will give you the points you deserve.

Kinda sucks.. Doesnt teach but reads off his slides which are copied from the book. His lectures are NOT helpful at all. they are boring. His tests are okay only if you teach urself. quizzes were easy since they were narrowed in topic. After taking the class and passing.. I still dont know anything about it.. this class is so useless!

He always gives open book exam. He's kind of professor that want you to understand not to memorize. He always says that the most important ability in this world is the ability to learn, and I'm totally agreed with it. He always asks what industrial engineering is at the beginning of a class.
