I took BUS12 online and it was an easy A. However, she grades very toughly on papers. There are quizzes and homework assignments due every week. No textbook, but you have to buy an online program.

Comment:

Many people like to complain about her, but I don't see what the big deal is. She's a good professor. The ones that complain are just straight-up lazy. All quizzes are based directly off the powerpoints, and quizzes are mostly multiple choice and pretty straightforward. Just listen in lecture (notes are useless) and you should be fine.

She is nice, but it seemed like she had favorites. Her grading is subjective, so you'll do fine in her class if she likes you and you participate. There's a lot of reading & they are on the quizzes, so be prepared for that. The class wasn't so bad - we met only once a week for the activity w/ the lecture on Friday (combined with the other sections)

she deserves a smiley face because as long asd u go to class and do good on quizes and papers ur good w/ a B. book is only used for quizzes and can be somewhat helpful for writing papers. dont be lazy go to class and ull be fine

Great teacher. Just make sure you do the reading becuase her quizzes are based off the reading and a little difficult. But the group quizzes are worth the most. No midterms. Just quizzes and group projects and a few papers.

She started teaching again after being the Marketing chair the last two years. Her class is 'experimental', centered around group work. 6 inclass 'projects', grading is sketchy. 6 quizzes, no midterms. You take a quiz individually, turn it in, then take the same one with your group. The group quiz is worth more. LONG lectures tend to drag

Class is based around group work. If you get a good group and a fun class you'll manage to do well and time will fly by. Only requirement is you have to go to class because you have to be there to support your group so everyone gets a good grade.

First impressions are everything with this professor. Do well on her first quiz and she'll respect you. She also teaches a LOT of material, but tests on only a few specific topics. Overall, a very accommodating professor...IF you do well in her course.

I took Professor Snell's class quite a few years ago. Her class was challenging but very interesting. If you are serious about the subject, she is very helpful. She is one of the best teachers at SJSU, although bad students will say crap about her.

Her midterm was hard! Last semester she had this thing called "minimum standards." If you didn't get 17/20 on the math part of the midterm, then you didn't pass the minimum standard, and therefore you could not get anything higher than a C in

I must say, she is one of the worst teachers I have ever taken. Her attitude is worse then her grading system. I can't imagine this teacher to be a mother, if she has kids I feel very sorry for them. I certainly recomend retirement soon!! Don't take her!

This semester she decided to try something new. Her grading criteria is unbelievably insane. Do not take this lady, she has completely lost all her sense of rationality. She's evasive, senile, and wants you to fail. I seriously wanted to murder her.
