Took this professor for ECON 2302 during a 3-week winter mini master. Professor Zipperer was always available and quick to email back. He was very upfront about the amount of homework and 3 essays through Connect, which was all on my Own time. Assignments must be done daily in order to keep up. Fast paced. No group projects or discussions!

Took this class for the minimester in Winter- 3 weeks. Lots and lots of homework and 3 exams however there's no way you cannot pass with an A as long as you do the work. It's alot of work but doable. Wish I could take this professor for other classes.

Great class- Took it over the 4 month period this time, but I kinda wished I'd done the minimester to get it over with quicker. All online, you can definitely get an A, just do not forget to do the Learnsmart. It takes LOADS of time and even though it says "practice" it's actual hw . The exams are easier than the learnsmart in my opinion.

This class was online so there already very little interaction with professors, and I can say I had maybe one interaction online with the professor. You'll work through Connect and SmartLearn. There's 100-180 questions in SmartLearn for every chapter, but on the bright side the actual homework is easy. If you can grind you'll be fine just buckle in

I took the 8 week minimester for credit this summer, and honestly it was a great class. There are 3 exams, 2 based on chapters, 1 final cumulative. 14 chapters in total to read/homework, and all t/f and multiple choice. DON'T FORGET LEARNSMART. The way it's set up, it looks like 'practice' but they actually count as assignments. Easy A, do the work

Would highly recommend taking this professor!! Yes, in the beginning, it might seem like a lot of homework and assignments but in the end, you can get through it. Set aside time for this class. He is a very caring professor. I took this class during the 8-week course. Again would highly recommend if you need to get this class out of the way.

A really caring professor. He responds timely and does care to help the student in any way he can. Definitely a devoted teacher. One of the best professors I've had. Material is not difficult but you will need to set aside time to devote to the class.

So easy, definitely take him! You only have 26 assignments, and you honestly don't have to read the full chapter, the questions will take you to where the answer is. All chapter assignments are for completion, for hw you can check if your answers are right. All true & false questions plus the exams are on quizlet!

Professor Z is awesome. Hes definitely right-wing and pro-gun. But, he doesnt push his political opinion upon you and will only really talk about it if you bring it up first. His economic belief is pro-capitalism and he teaches in accordance with that. Hes a veteran and has some great stories as well.

Prof Z is pretty awesome and a class doesn't get much more straightforward than his. 3 week mini so it's busy, but not insane like others. Everything is done in connect. HW questions, short quizzes and 2 exams. All of its easily found in the book or online. He's quick to respond if you need him. Would definitely take him again. High recommended.

Did the Online 3 week mini semester course. Every chapter has like 200 questions. If you sit and do the work it's definitely doable. I work full time and was able to manage. It was intense but if you do the work you can pass with an A.

I took the 3 week Dec. mini mester. There was a TON of homework that took me hours. You can work ahead. He was easy, its all on connect, and quizlet. Only bad part was how long it took to do the homework and he didnt post any of the test grades. Do the work A.

He was a great teacher, his lectures are long but the stuff he says is very useful so be sure to take notes. He always reviews before the test so its hard to fail. There is lots of homework but as long as you manage your time it should be fine.

Took 2 8week courses. easy A. All hw and test are done on Connect. Cares that students understand economics. Doesn't sugarcoat things. The only hard part is Connect hw which takes about 1-2 hrs per ch so make time to do them. Final is taken in person but he reviews. Final will be about everything you learned in class.

Everything will be done from Connect. If you spend enough time, there is no way you cannot get an A. Exams and final are on Connect as well which you can find answer on Quizlet.

Prof. Z gets off topic quite often, but when hes on, hes on. Loved the class. Great prof. and great veteran, USMC in Vietnam. Accessible outside of class most times and will help if need be on boosting your grades by reopening LearnSmart and homeworks. Very conservative, one of the last good ones left at LSC. Pro2A. Best of luck in his class.

I am the exact opposite of him on most econ/pol matters but he is AWESOME! Allows for diverse debate and will go out of his way to help you no matter what. Will help you even if you are a scruffy commie :) Genuinely cares about his students and it shows. I'm not a gun person but fired my first rounds at the student gun club with him. Great man.

Uses MHEducation for his Macro and Micro courses. Conservative, but not as annoying as liberal professors. Does support the 2nd and is a prior US Marine. Take his class for a worthwhile education in a tough, but durable class.

A sharp, concise, veteran who we can all learn from. This man is awesome, and he has great lectures. A very good professor who feeds off his class and provides insight to the "why" of economic policy. The E-text assignments are solid, as well as attendance, although you won't want to miss his classes, as they will be your lecture highlight.
