Comment:

Sternberg is a great professor. She is very invested in helping her students further understand class material, grades, and even current events. Extremely knowledgable of media issues, and really cares. I recommend taking her, she will make you want to work for your grade.

she is very very nice, but the actual class content provided takes up like 15 minutes of class. and then she keeps the class for 2.5 hours. so it's a lot of rambling and side stories, which gets frustrating. like actually nothing to do with the course until the last half hour.

very unclear professor. attendance and readings are a must in her class. i took it for an "easy A" wow was i surprised! she was never in class on time and never let us out a few min early, if anything she would pass her time. its a do-able class but u have to do attends and do the readings!

Had her for ethical issues. 1 paper, midterm, final. tests both multiple choice based on notes and the book so you cant go wrong. smart lady, helpful outside of class, although very repetitive at times. Learned some good stuff overall.

Awesome professor. Took her for an internship course and she was very laid back since it was a pass/fail class. VERY helpful outside of class and very understanding. I took a class with her previously and she was great. Don't miss taking a class with this professor!

AMAZING professor, interesting lectures, readings are worthwhile. Her class time flew by, even though it was a 2.5 hr night class. No midterm, just three papers and a final (multiple choice!). The papers are pretty easy, and shes a fair grader. TAKE A CLASS WITH HER IF YOU CAN - not only will you learn a lot, you will enjoy the class as well.

Very interesting class...makes you look at the digital world in a new light. She makes the class interesting with her lecture, which takes up the whole class, but it's fun. Very helpful, listens to your questions and gives meaningful answers. Great class as an elective or for a req. Highly recommended!

Good teacher, can ramble on and on and on and on...but quite easy, tests are straight forward, reading was useless, everything came form notes. She's deaf in one ear so you she will ask to repeat things a lot when you talk. Easy A.

Very sweet lady, talks a bit too much about herself and her tv appearances, expected this class to be tougher, not as many writing assignments as i expected instead learned about how to search the web and what bullet points looked like; not very helpful for the real world - wish i took lauterstein

Annoying class. Grades based on how SHE likes your writing- not on the standard, correct way to write or the content of the paper. Takes months to get back papers. Repeats herself unmercifully. Learn about incredibly basic things.

most approachable teacher i've had at fordham yet. always willing to help, VERY clear w/explanatiions, understanding, so sweet. TAKE HER!
