SOOO boring. likes to talk in circles, never understand if someone doesn't understand something, just looks at you like you are stupid. couldn't keep a class interested,and didnt seem to notice. way too involved in design class to the point where it took away from my project because all his additional classes left me little time for design.

Incredibly easy if you've had any experience writing an essay, the only kids that I noticed not getting at least a b were ones who amazingly never seemed to have written an essay in their life, readings can be wicked confusing or dense, but come to class (important!) and remember what he tells you to include in your essays and that's pretty much it

Bottom line - he may seem a little eccentric, but he is really an excellent professor - demands huge and numerous essays, but well worth a resultant elevation in language and critical thinking skills. Great course material - but heavy - I cursed him before I started to learn. Makes valuable connections with design classes. Highly Recommended!!!

alot of work. usually an 2 page essay due everyday. the classes are boring. especcially the 9 o clock class, but still take it because you then have time to work before afternoon class. he is very good at helping you develope and understand your design projects, and in helping you present them. stiff grader though.

I think he is a great teacher. I learned alot in his class, and it changed the way I view things. Don't take him if don't think writing is important and would rather focus on other classes. He gives alot of work. Essay per class.

Hey kids....so...I'm going to start the class now. Easiest teacher ever. Doesn't pay attention to weekly assignments, only essays. Just write a lot and talk to him and you'll do fine. Gives great advice for design studio. Boring yes, but easy overall.
