Comment:

DJ Huyler is the boy. He looks like the grandpa from Up and he's so funny. He makes class fun and gets sidetracked easily. Hes really easy but weirdly grades tough though. He likes when you participate too. We never had tests only short movie reviews on the Blindside, American History X and one you pick which were a joke. Take him!

Comment:

Dr. Huyler is a professor that I can depend on, meaning that he's a very inspirational professor. He helped my transition into college life. I have yet to take him as a political science professor, so I really don't know him as a scholar, but he's a very nice and outgoing person. Very generous, to say the least. AND he was a DJ!!!

Took Dr Huyler for my journey class but as a Poli Sci major I wish I could have him for a politics course! Sadly he doesnt seem to be teaching those right now. He is a sweet guy !

Prof Huyler is great, he is such a fair grader and although he has his own views about things, he seems pretty open to others. He loves participation so participate and he'll like you. He doesn't assign much homework, besides a few papers but they are easy and if you actually put in effort, he will give you an A on them.

Excellent professor, Makes class interesting with his teaching skills. Very Knowledgeable in his field, humorous, and laidback. Not uptight about handing assignment as long as you hand it in by the end of the semester you're good Overall I would retake him.

Seriously a fun teacher. Great guy and he's a DJ too. Class is easy and he rambles on a lot and some classes nothing gets done, which is always a plus. Dude is an extreme conservative, so if you have some deep resentment to conservatives, avoid him. If you want an easy A, take him.

Dr. Huyler is an extremely easy prof. He knows Journey is a CORE class and wants your GPA to be determined in the classes of your major. He lectures most of the time and it's a bonus when he gets off topic and talks about his political views. No exams/quizzes just a few papers. If you don't get an A, then you clearly did something terribly wrong.

He's not what you expect him to be like. He is a DJ that still uses CDs. He has EXTREME political views and if you ask him about them he will go off on rants. We hardly every get work done. He is the PERFECT professor for Journey!

Jerome is not quite the best professor ever...He often tries to make jokes, but that is about the best part of his class. He really likes to hear himself talk. He will call on you and make a fool out of you if you aren't paying attention. His class is very boring, so this happens pretty often. Oh yeah, and he is a DJ on the side...

Super nice professor. Really helpful if you need him, but you don't really "need" him at all. His class is essay-oriented: no tests at all. Make sure you read the material, or at least sparknote it. He might call on you once or twice to make sure you're paying attention. Easygoing guy. Would take him again.

I loved this man! can he babble? YES but you're in college people, professors are suppose to stand up there and lecture you, he was goofy and he DEF does answer his phone in class but he is a very understanding person and as long as you pay attention you will do fine!

He is crazy. He's definitely very smart but he babbles on and on. He doesn't really teach, he lectures. He also tries to imply his own opinions all the time and doesn't accept others. He's easy and funny sometimes. Go for it.
