I took a few courses with Dr. Hoban and he was absolutely one of my favorite people, let alone favorite professors. Kind, caring, and willing to challenge you. I'll never forget when he took the time to introduce himself to my parents at graduation and say some nice things... what a gem.

Love his laugh. I'll never forget sleeping in class in the front row. He said ISNT THAT RIGHT LIZ! I jumped and then he was all "WHAT What" - you would have to hear the imitation :)

I love Professor Hoban. He was (to steal one of his favorite words) FAB-U-LOUS! He took an active interest in all of his students lives. He seemed more like family than a teacher but he still wouldn't hestitate to give you a tough grade. It's because of him that I found my calling in documentary filmmaking.
