I love Dr. Smith. If you have to pick a chemistry teacher-pick her! She is very nice, funny, and wants you to learn! Lecture is straight-forward and easy. She is the most helpful lab instructor for chemistry as well. Don't be afraid to ask her if you don't know things! I actually looked forward to going to class even though I hate chemistry!

She's not the most interesting professor, but she knows her stuff. If you don't understand, go to her and she will help you. She is very fair. There isn't really any work required for class but doing the problems she gives in the textbook WILL help. tests are a bit rough, but overall she was a good professor.

horrible horrible horrible professor! NEVER EVER take her! she doesn't care about anyone and never helps out with problems if you don't understand. she keeps you like 5 minutes over class time and she doesn't know anything she talks about! she always "messes up" but she really is just not fit for being a professor! take someone else, trust me!

Gives great notes. Assigns homework but does not collect. It is to your advantage to do the homework though. Is very nice and helpful if you just ask. Will not do your work for you but will definetly help you to understand it better.

Summer course. Dr. Smith may seem cold at 1st, but if you can win her respect then she will share her wide range of knowledge and invaluable advice. She has a "hands-off" style of teaching so she's not going to do your HW for you, but she is nice and straightforward. Can be rough grading lab reports but generous with pts. on quizzes/exams. Expect 1 quiz and 1 exam every week. Builds slight curve into exams. Gives excellent notes. I highly recommend Dr. Smith.

Best teacher I have ever had, very understanding when most aren't, enjoyed every minute of it and retaking her again next semseter. Tests can be a little confusing but remember it is college, other than that, just do the homework and pay attention and all should be well!

Excellent for the labs, used to be an industrial chemist, so she knows her stuff. Terrible at making tests: the questions never quite make sense, and they always take longer than the classtime. Helpful, but the tests will kill you if you aren't careful.
