2 midterms and a final. Optional HW not graded. Accurate and reasonable tests similar to his practice ones and HW. Kind, patient and cares for all students. Ask questions, go to his office hours and review sessions. Hes always willing to help and explain the concepts more clearly. Always enjoyed his lectures and jokes. He made me love math again.

Professor Hunter's office hours are almost always full and he takes the time to answer everyone's question no matter the difficulty. He cracks dad jokes and is very considerate about time (He doesn't make midterms very close to holidays). HW is required but not graded, be prepared to work in this class. Exams are fair.

Grade is out of 2 midterms and a final. Super nice professor that makes corny jokes in class. He's incredibly smart and a great teacher, but he's also very humble and cares about his students a lot.

A caring professor that tells dumb math jokes. He always answers questions in detail and does his best to make himself as accessible as possible. However, he is not an easy professor and grade is based solely on exams so make sure to do all the homework and practice exams to get all the practice you can get.

Professor Hunter is a really good choice for any math course you take. He has a generous curve and is hilarious in lecture. The only downside is that I wish we had homework that counted for our grade but overall he is good.

He is like your favorite cute grandfather. The dude knows way too much about math but is very humble about being way smarter than you ever could be. He understands that we have trouble and always tries to be as available as possible for help. You have to do the homework and pay attention because 21D is very difficult material.

Incredibly fair, very good lectures, and definitely cares about his students! Tells dumb math jokes that make my day, and has lots of neat stories. You are graded 100% on tests which is kind of crappy, but there are three of them (two midterms and a final) so that's pretty fair.

Hunter was a fantastic guy and a good professor. He's not one to spoon-feed you, but he also goes over all the material that you need for the exam in his lectures. His lectures are tidy, and he also can be pretty funny sometimes. Tough class, do the homework and practice! Exams are difficult, but usually very fair. Recommend this guy for any class.

Professor Hunter gives amazing lectures, and going to every single class definitely helps you to learn the material. Although there are a lot of homework problems, the tests are relatively easy. I would rate him as a 10/5 upper-division math professor and I will definitely take his class in the future if possible. I just love him:)

Very good professor with clear explanation. Once I asked him a really hard question, he still gave me a detailed explanation in a short time.

A British God with unbridled intellect. Crystal clear lectures, where he works many examples and writes everything on the board. The optional homework and practice exams are very relevant for the real exams. Very approachable and caring, once stayed outside Geidt for 1 hour answering questions. Exams fair if you do homework, curves class at end.

Not only is he British (our nickname for his was Hunterdore :3) so hes 10x more engaging to listen to, but he has a quirky, awkward way of lecturing that makes class funny. He compares the math topics to his own personal stories. Wish he would talk more about them! He always cuts off early because he thinks no one is interested. Awesome class.

Professor Hunter is a super nice guy and has an amazing knowledge of PDEs. Since 118B is somewhat advanced, we had students asking very specific and obscure questions and Professor Hunter never failed to answer them in great detail. I think its safe to assume he knows everything about PDE! I would absolutely take him again!

FAVORITE MATH CLASS. Great textbook, great lectures. Best prof I've ever had. Shoulda done better but got wrecked on first midterm because I didn't go over the homeworks well enough. Tests very similar to hw except for last few problems, application based. Helps to remember your mechanics and statistics/graphing.

One of the best profs ever! He's the king of DE's and I was really lucky to have him for 22B. He assigns weekly homework but they're not graded. Your grade is solely dependent on 2 midterms and 1 final. His lectures are very clear. He writes down everything on the board. Just copy them down and study those for the tests and you should be ready!

Professor Hunter is one of the best math professors I've ever had at UCD. He gives clear lectures and writes everything down on the chalkboard. If you don't understand something, I recommend asking him after class. First midterm was hard, second easy, final hard but fair. Class is curved. Do the HW and study your notes.

two midterms and final (30-30-40). pretty abstract in my opinion. he seemed pretty nice in class, but I never went to office hours or anything. you definitely need to do the homework. pretty interesting material. midterm 1 was nothing like practice exam, midterm2 was VERY similar to practice. final was fair but challenging.

No homework, no discussion, no quiz, just 3 exams. you'd better know something about calculus before taking his class. practice exams are really helpful. exams are not hard with curve.
