John is a pretty good professor. The material he's teaching can sometimes be confusing at first, but you get the hang of it after a couple days. We were supposed to read the textbook and do the problems, but I never did and I still got an A. Pay attention during class, attend the labs, and do the study guides and you're guaranteed an A.

I took all three engineering physics classes with John and I had a great time! Wasn't easy... but physics isn't easy. Work hard, pay attention, do the study guide, and you will succeed. John loves the subject and it clearly shows. Would take more classes with him in the future.

I had John for 3 quarters of Physics and I loved it. He gave me a love for physics. He is so smart in so many subjects. I was amazed and loved being in his class. Thanks John!!

Worst teacher I have ever had! Very boring and hard to stay awake in class! His tests are strictly out of the book! You dont even have to come to class! I would not advise you to take this class if you are not interested in astronomy at all! He is HORRIBLE!

Nett is cool. Great class to start the day off with but it can be boaring. As long as you take notes and READ THE BOOK you will do well. His tests are multiple choice scantrons. The first test is the "common knowledge" test imo, so dont get to excited and slack off because u think all the tests will be that easy. He curves all the grades at the end

He is a really nice guy. He explains everything very well and really seems to love what he teaches. He sometimes cracks some jokes that are really good. You dont even have to show up to class. Just take the tests and pass them. Very relaxing class to start the mornings off with. I never read my book and still got Bs on the tests easily.

The important thing to remember about this class is that it is a SURVEY class. But! Nett grades on a really slack grading scale, so even if you are bad at tests, it's hard to fail if you take them all. I barely showed up to class and got a B. Make sure you read the book. He's a nice guy... could interact more with students in class perhaps?

[[= I LOVED THIS CLASS! Very easy, but also really interesting. Because I love stars and such, I thought all the stuff we learned in class was MIND-BLOWING! We'd watch videos like once a week, which was cool cuz you could nap if you want. TESTS ARE EASY. VERY NICE PROF. HIGH RECOMMEND!

He makes himself available, and you can always ask him questions during his office hours. The class is challenging, but not impossible. Wonderful at explanations. I had him for correspondence, so I don't know how regular classes are, but when I went Tuesdays he was always very helpful and very funny. I loved the material, and the book is actually kinda fun to read! Tests are medium hard-you have to study for them, but the questions are straightforward and right out of the book.

This was an incredibly boring class... If you like to pay to watch out of date videos it's great but... The tests weren't that hard for some but others had a hard time, and the tests are all you're graded on.. If you're good at tests, this is an easy A.
