Like all the other comments the resource folder is the most time consuming, however overall the course is very easy and chill. His exams are straight from the reviews. I just don't like how the review have over 100 question and the exams are only 25-30 question consisting of T/F and free response questions. Start early on resource folder and STUDY!

Very easy class. 1 essay, 2 tests, 1 resource folder and tons of extra credit. Study guides are given to you, and many different options to choose from when writing the essay.

He's a character through and through. Cares about the students, provides many opportunities to succeed and the class itself is straightforward. Whatever you take from him, it'll be likely one of your easier and best classes that semester. Take his class, learn, and move on as it is a GE class. Great guy, the picture of an understanding teacher

Dr. Pryor is not given enough credit. He is a great professor who is passionate about his profession and makes sure you get something out of the course. He grades a midterm and final, a paper, and the resource folder (also offers EC). All simple things to do, just pay attention and put in effort. Attendance is not mandatory, but it pays off to go.

I would miss this class almost everyday. I missed it for a whole month at one point, I would only show up to take tests. He has a midterm and a final. The resource folder is probably the most time consuming assignment. I waited until the day before it was due to do it. It is possible to finish it in one day but don't wait until the last minute.

Easy A! 2 test, 8 page paper, and a resource folder. Not hard at all! Make sure you print out his study guide and he gives you all the answers in class. The test questions are straight from the study guide. No book!

He's a funny guy and has such a fun class. He's willing to bring things into class so you can get hands on experience from his lectures. Graded on a midterm, final, a paper, and a resource folder (don't wait last minute to do it) which is all extremely simple. His lectures are fun and he provides tons of extra credit throughout the semester.

Although this class was one of those where you could just skip every single day and still pass as long as you did the small amounts of work, I find it a very sloppy style as you only get graded by so few things. Meaning, if you fail 1 or 2 big assignments, you're capable of getting a C or even fail if you mess up significantly on just a few works.

No textbook, you put together your own but its super easy. He doesnt care if you show up but sometimes hell give extra credit to those who do. Lectures are going to be really boring if you arent an anthro major. Exams werent bad he gives you a study guide.

Lectures were organized, 4-5 hours of movies, no book, & 40+ extra credit points. 1 midterm, one 8-pg paper, 1 resource folder, & 1 final. The resource folder (highest pts) is extremely easy but takes 6-7 hours, and gives you chances to redo them for more points. Study guides' questions are the same on tests, but tests are written & T/F. Fun man,

I had him for Anthro 161 and I enjoyed the class. He is an easy teacher if you show up and pay attention. He gives you the midterm and final study guides at the beginning of the units and you fill them out as he lectures. He has a paper and a resource folder also, but if you follow the instructions, he's an easy A. I would take this class again.

Professor Pryor gives out a lot of extra credit. If you are in need of help he is always willing to help you even if he has a lot of things on his hand. He may get off topic, but the stories are mainly about his experience of his work. He is an amazing professor, but his lectures are kinda boring. If you can get past that you can definitely pass.

Easy A. Lectures are extremely boring though. Class wasn't mandatory. There will be one midterm & final exam. All questions are from the midterm/final review. Just memorize answers- he answers them in sections on any random given day. One big resource folder due on the last day. Easy, but tedious. Get started on it early as possible.

Professor Proyr is well educated and is passionate about what he teaches, however his lectures are dull. He also has you fill out two study guides that has at least 92- 100 questions, and only 25 questions from each study guide are on each midterm exam and final. The exams are open ended questions, and he also is a tough grader on exams.

Comment:
Dr. Pryor is very enthusiastic about subject matter pertaining to his career and academic experience. However, because this class covers a broad range of topics, this comes as a fault to his discussion of anything not related to archaeology specifically. He tends to be less approachable and falls behind on getting back to students for questions.
