Comment:

This class is exactly what you make of it. You can pass it by doing nothing but then you would have wasted your money. Take advantage of his supportive and inspirational feedback by being prepared for class with drafts and questions. Youll need to learn the bulk of the software outside of the classroom, but his grasp of design theory is great

Comment:

I had a class with this professor, and he was incredibly disorganized, and cancelled classes quite a lot. Coming into class, he always expected you to have more done then usual, and didnt really take into account that you take more than just his class. Otherwise, he did grade fairly, and was laidback.

Hybrid class with online portion being discussions. He lectures but only shows pictures instead of notes for you to write down. If you don't read the book you won't pass the class, but the sections are long. I failed the first quiz because I hadn't learned anything. Few grades include 2 quizzes, midterm, final, discussions, and a final project.

Awesome teacher, if you actually want to learn his advice and knowledge is some of the best in the program. Just hearing his insights and passion for the trade is enough to motivate anyone to want to learn more!

I did not enjoy my class with Krasner. I found him to be very disorganized. Our class time was not managed appropriately. Class time became more of a work time and a time to go off on tangents during critiques. He was incredibly frustrating and scatter brained. However he does have passion for what he does and means well.

He is an okay teacher. I took him for motion graphics which is his specialty. He cares a lot about his students which makes him a good relationship to have, but his assignments and feedback leaves much to be desired. I did not feel challenged or even much interested in the assignments. However, he is a great guy and quite funny!

Jon was an amazing drawing professor. I knew I had the ability in me, but without his instruction I wouldn't have been able to harness it. His tips and tricks are invaluable and he gives positive, honest feedback. He never says a drawing is bad, just tells you how you can improve it. He really tries to motivate his students and is a wonderful guy.

I actually learned a lot in this class. Coming in I had a working knowledge of PS and Ai, but coming out I feel I am extremely proficient in many of the Adobe programs. He taught well, was clear, and took the time for extra help as needed. Definitely would take him again.

Hands down one of my favorite classes. Not only is the course material highly interesting and engaging, but Jon is a great professor. He will never shoot down a students idea/concept; rather, he provides constructive criticism to better a students design. Awesome professor, fantastic class. Highly recommend.

As much as I love his bubbly attitude and excitement for his Typography class, I find that every class is the same old routine and it quickly became a old and dry. Even though I love Graphic Design I found myself not wanting to go to his class. Never the less he is a fantastic teacher and knows his stuff, I believe he should find new ways teach

I took GD 1 with Professor Krasner at Assumption. It was the first design class I had ever taken, because of his class I decided to major in Graphic Design. This class was fun and I learned a ton! Krasner knows what he is doing! He is brilliant in the subject and very passionate about teaching. TAKE THIS CLASS! (But not for an easy A)

I took both of his Motion Graphics classes and I learned a lot. We used After Effects which was a completely new program to me and it quickly became my two favorite classes. I definitely recommend this class. Jon is a great professor and very helpful if you have questions. The work is very involved but 100% worth it.

Took him for History of Graphic Design. He truly does have a passion for the subject. The text was challenging but he explained things well. Class held my interest because of the history aspect, but if graphic design isn't for you or its not your major then this class isn't for you. He lectures for the entire class. The visuals were truly amazing!
