Im a straight A student but failed her class. The class was not hard itself but she made it impossible. Basically, I lost/failed my quizzes tests labs because she deducts points from misspelling, no dates etc. IF YOU DONT WANT TO FAIL DONT TAKE HER. she put myself esteem down!

DO NOTTAKE HER CLASS!!! I was getting a B in lecture (with a different prof.) and I had Handley for lab and she failed me. The entire Chem department hates her and can't wait till she retires.Anyway she's by far the worst professor Ive had. She does everything possible to deduct points. She can't teach at alll.. and stresses the students out.

This professor DO NOT LIKE To Teach. as from my experience....she deduct points for ridiculous unnecessary reason. For not writing your name in a certain way, not sitting in the right seat...misspelling...she is just ruthless...she doesn't do the calculations right...the students have to correct her...JUST DONT STAY AWAY FROM THIS LADY!!

Chem is not easy so get over it. Dr. Handley taught it the best she could when the students are basically on their 5th year of high school. She respects students that show good grades and follow lab procedure. I got an A in the class and lab. If you think you're going to become a doctor by slacking off in a course like this, get a reality check.

Don't take her Class! I had her only for lab and got a C For the lecture I've gotten an A. Does it seem fair? She deducts points for misspellings, missing dates, etc.Everybody in the class just hated her.Oh and she makes copy her lectures word by word. Missing a word costs you a point.

The material itself is not hard at all. She just tends to not be clear about it and she hates to repeat herself so if you ask questions frequently be careful because you might end up on her bad side. The tests are manageable but this class requires a lottt of studying (I would suggest from the book).

sure you can do well in her class but her class made my semester miserable n I only had her for lab She isn't good w/people Not clear on what she wants in lab Treats everybody like high School kids"Nobody should be talking when I'm talking" Well if she spoke louder we would know that she's talking and we would shut up

This lady is a horrible teacher. If you are not willing to study hard and push yourself hard don't bother with this class. Chem 110 is an easy class, but if you leave it to her she will complicate the simplest things and treat you like an idiot. The book is your best friend in this class not her. Take lecture notes to pass time.

Well, she is not an easy teacher but people make horrible comments about her, and it is not fair. She is not the best, but she explains the material, and she is very soft spoken, so it is hard to hear her sometimes. But if you put an effort, she helps you out.

NO! DO NOT TAKE HER, well unless you want to fail, then do so. HARD tests, consist of a part of multiple choice then the rest are a mix of concept questions, essay/explain type, and problem solving. If you have a cough, don't bother showing up in class bec. she'll get mad at you and embarrass in class.

Honestly, probably the worst teacher you can sign up for. I took 110 with her, took 101 and 102 with different teachers and regret not taking 110 with a different teacher. Most people don't like teachers because they don't do well, but I'm telling you now.... RUN. All 60+ students in the lecture hall hated her and thats a fact. HORRIBLE!

Absolutely the WORST teacher I have ever had. I am already an overachiever and I have to repeat this class because this teacher is just horrible. Shes boring, monotonic, cannot grade. DO NOT TAKE HER!!
