Comment:

Karen is wonderful. Her office is located In Mcgilvery, and she carries all of her supplies to Bowman for classes. She is a realist, and she cares about her students. Reading is light and plentiful, not much homework a few papers. Show up, study, participate and pass. Grades almost never show online. Course required material cost me less than $24.

Comment:

Professor Cunningham is not my favorite. She is a very hard grader when it comes to writing papers and takes an extremely long time to answer emails. I would not take her again. Her lectures are beyond boring as well.

Comment:

Professor Cunningham is a very knowledgable and caring person. I really became interested in the subject matters in class and feel it is applicable for any major. The information in lectures is fairly easy to understand and Cunningham is always willing to help you out.

Comment:

Even though I was not a conflict management major I still took this class for Kent Core. She is very nice and is a very lenient person when it comes to late work, just notify her before hand. The class in general was stress free and not super content heavy but for me the info wasn't my favorite. Overall she is just a quality professor.

She was nice, but I would never take her again. Her lectures are very boring, she does not make the content interesting whatsoever. I absolutely dread going to her class twice a week to say the least.

She's willing to help and as long as you're honest with her she's cool with just about anything. I went to class maybe 6 times all semester and am ending it with a B+. Super easy, but she is lecture heavy and pretty boring.

A really good teacher i really recommend her to anyone regardless of you major, shes really nice to everyone as long as your honest with her and do your work and communicate with her she's really cool.

I've taken three classes by this professor throughout my college career. She grades fairly and is very flexible and understanding. Not the most entertaining courses, but easy to do well in if you do the work assigned and show up to class.

Kind of boring but she does try to make it interesting. Class was super easy though, mostly common sense. We had 2 exams, 2 or 3 papers, and some in-class group work. Easiest class I've taken in the past 2 years. She takes attendance every class.

I had her for nonviolence. She's very strange. You get no feedback on your work throughout the course. You have to write a weekly reflection and read a lot of articles. There are no exams, just a final. She puts the notes online. 50% of your grade is two big projects. Shes very "go with the flow" and the class lacks structure, but it's interesting.

Karen is a great professor. She is very understanding of missing quizzes/activities and will let you retake them with no problem. Conflict Management was an interesting class but very easy to grasp the main concepts. Tests are easy, and she is very clear with instructions.

(Intro. To Conflict Management) -- Not a blow off class. Her grading scale is crazy and you really don't get credit for doing the class/home-work, but if you don't do it you will fail. class is not that hard but VERY boring!

There's a lot of misconceptions about Intro to Conflict Management. Everyone thinks its a blow off class. In a way, it may be, but if you do poorly on the midterm, because of her grading scale, you are pretty much stuck with that grade. I got a D on the midterm, A's on everything else, and only ended up with a C.
