Professor Pluemer is very respectable and knowledgeable. She is very helpful as long as you do quality work. She cancelled class a lot (almost the entire month of November). She is not very clear in her instructions nor on what she wants out of a project, but she is very flexible. Attend class and you should be fine.

Comment:

She is an awesome professor for 1230! Gives clear verbal and demonstrational expectations of what she wants in the paper. She is extrememly down to earth and will help you as long as you put the work in. And one more thing when she tells you to stay off your phones/ computers stay off your devices, I gurantee she will respect you more.

Comment:

Cares about her students and wants them to succeed and become better writers. Attendance isn't mandatory as she cancels a lot of her classes to allow time to work on your paper, which there is 4 of them. However, she is a tough grader when it comes to writing essays. As long as you follow the rubric, you will easily pass this class.

Very clear on what needs to be done!(It is the main emphasis of the class) She gives out quizzes over material/handouts given out during lecture so make sure you skim over/study them. DO NOT procrastinate on your projects and don't be afraid to visit in her office hours.

She's a fun prof who will help you fine tune your paper so you will get an A. Attendance is mandatory, but she let the class go for a week because she says you can do better work at home than in the classroom. Definitely recommend this prof.

Very nice lady, but the class was almost too easy. All we did was read handouts and write papers. She will help you if you ask, but you really don't have to work hard to get an A in the class.
