An absolute monster of a time consuming class. Homework due before every class for the first few months, a group project that is essentially an internship of sorts, and a disorganized class. One second you'll be doing homework only to remember you have part of the project due, all while having to remember to log your hours which no one does. Avoid.

Is pretty disorganized and barely knows how to use TRACS and online textbook/assignments. Can be difficult when presented with problems. Takes attendance every class and requires participation as a grade. Gave me an 89.55 at the end of the semester and refused to raise my grade to an A even though I deserved it. Honestly still bitter.

I loved Smith so much I'm taking another class she teaches next semester! However, this class was really interesting to me. She has homework for each chapter, 3 tests, and a project which isn't that hard. You don't have to take the final if you don't want to. She takes attendance at the beginning of class so don't be late.

Dr. Smith might come off as sweet, but she's honestly very condescending. She also doesn't stop talking. The stuff she presents in class seems important until you take the test. She presents random things from the chapters that don't help you prepare for the class. Make sure to ask a questions or comment that is in line with her views.

Best teacher Ive ever had at Texas State. Actually made class interesting. Took her for summer 1. Quiz for each chapter (easy) straight from the book or online. you print the quizzes and study them youll make As on exams. 1 project you can do with a partner. Nothing too complicated. Coolest and nicest lady ever <3 TAKE HER

She is such a good fun teacher. I took her in the summer and as long as you study the quizzes and review we do in class you'll make an A on the test! Print the quizzes and study. Love this teacher.

Dr. Smith is a great professor and a very sweet lady. You have quizzes do before every class but if you use the book to help you they are super easy. Tests are scenario type questions which can sometimes trick you. Partner project that you will do great on if you follow her instructions perfectly. She will NOT round you even if you have an 89.9

The class is solely graded off the group project (which is a lot of work). Be prepared for meetings every week & working on this class constantly. There are HW assignments but if you complete them, you get a 100. Be sure to pick a good group that will do their fair share. Go to her office hours for any questions & she will help. Don't skip class!

do well on the project, participate, don't skip class and do quizzes and you will be fine. Didn't do well on the tests (because i didn't study) and still got a B in the class. PowerPoints for every lecture and tries to do activities but they dont really help. Overall an easy class and decent prof.

Overall test/quiz/group project easy. A's on her test, but made a B, due to low attendance and participation points. 2 free absences anymore after points deducted. won't accept excused notes. Exam study methods: 90% quiz 10%Powerpoint because she does mention what to know. Doesn't round up

Dr. Smith is a really sweet prof. Her lectures are clear cut and similar to the exams. Graded by 3 exams (optional final), quizzes for every chapter and one major project. She'll incorporate games into the lectures and gives us candy. Very caring and involved prof. She wants the students to be engaged so participate and you'll enjoy the class

She was an amazing professor. Her tests aren't hard, just make sure to study the quizzes and read the sections that are covered on the quizzes. The individul project is 30 percent of of overall grade so it's better to start early on it. Overall, really enjoyed her class.

Don't read anything past 2017 because she change her class material. The group project is not a group it's a individual project. This class is not so easy anymore. You're going to have to put work in to get that A. Do the extra credit because at the end of the year you might have 89.99 and she will not pump you up. Most likely you will get a B

Go to class because attendance and participation points matter to your final grade. Quizzes are due every Tuesday and Thursday and can be found on quizlet or easily in the book. Take the project seriously because it's a big factor of the final grade. Study the quiz topics for the tests. DOES NOT ROUND gives brownie point, only adds .5-1 pt to grade

I love Dr. Smith. She is so caring and attentive to her students. Makes the class incredibly fun and easy to understand. She hilarious and she knows it. She laughs at her own jokes and I love that about her! Not a super hard class to begin with but Dr. Smith really helps you to understand the material. TAKE HER!

Easy A! Power points posted, TRACS quizzes before every class (which are easy), and a pretty straight forward group project that lasts the whole semester. Final is optional. Book is necessary; all quiz questions are definitions from the book & it helped give great examples. Mrs. Smith is such a sweet lady! Take her!

This class is so easy that it is actually painful. There are 4 exams including the final and she drops your lowest. Never read the book or listened in class and finished the course with like a 98. 100% a blow off class you can use to get other work done in. Really easy group project that you can get over a 100 on if you just follow the directions.
